I have heard several forum members and others in the vaping community complain of how long it takes them [AiV] to get their order out. Apparently it's common to wait up to or more than 3 weeks to receive an order after placing it. Keep in mind, this is on top of them being open one day a week for orders. After I heard all of this and discovered the site was closed EVERY time I went to order- I decided I would spend my money elsewhere. My girlfriend, however, was adamant on placing an order with Alice in Waitland...I mean Vapeland. Well today was "order day" and the store was closed when she went to order at 6PM. Not everyone has an occupation that allows them to be online throughout the day, thus she attempted to order as soon as she got home. After her rant she decided AiV was not a vendor she wants to support, making her the 4th or 5th I've heard this week.

Now I know this will ruffle some feathers with the fanboys/fangirls, and a company has every right to do what they want...but I find their practices to be a joke. Perhaps they could take more orders if they offered a "I do not want my box decorated and filled with confetti crap and trinkets on my liquid bottle" option? I don't know...just a thought. I know I know- patience is a virtue, etc, etc, ad nauseam.

-pardon my rant-

It's not just alice.
I've waited two-three weeks for orders from other companies as well.
Two in particular >.>

never again!

and Idk about you but waiting 2-3 weeks almost guarantees I'm out of juice and incredibly ANGRY by the time my order comes

like I've said in other posts I had to emergency order from vaporbomb in the middle of the night and by the next morning my order was in the mail.
now if usps would deliver it and not lose it like my other packages I'd be set

that would be a nice option,
an option of "just give me my d@#$ juice!"

They make some decent juice, but they really need to hire more people or something. The fancy packaging is nice and everything, but if it's keeping them from having enough people to fill orders in a reasonable timeframe, I dunno, maybe it's time to think about cutting a few corners.

I was a big fan at one point, but now that it takes a month to get juice from them, as long as you order on the right day... well, not so much any more. There are just too many other options out there. They aren't the only place that makes decent juice.

Oh thank god. One of my orders is in Philadelphia. Which means if I'm lucky I won't run out of juice over the weekend.
Actually if it came to that there's a vape meet outside Philly on saturday I just can't run out until then lol.
down to two sampler bottles, god help me

And Alice in Vapeland at least has an estimate. My other vendor's website says the order will be processed in three days and it's been two weeks now.

grrr

At least they're upfront about it when you order? They do a good job of setting proper expectations before you get things ordered, and they also do a good job of keeping customers updated on Facebook and Twitter. I knew my order was shipping out before I got the email because they post shipping status on social sites. I am not saying it excuses the wait times, but they do the best that they can with the tools available. And you have to appreciate that.
They keep saying that they're expanding. One has to admit, it's a weird business and I can understand that finding, hiring, and training staff can take time and be very difficult. Please also consider Faceless, the guy behind the iHybrid who also has has expansion and staff issues due to the nature and care put into their products. This isn't exactly flipping burgers, man, and finding good people locally who can work for you is tough.
But AiV does have a good product, and it's an awesomely put together final presentation. I giggled every bit as much getting my stamped, confetti filled box of samples as I did ripping the plastic off my new iPhone 5. I wouldn't have them any other way, and as big of a pain in the ... it is, I'll be patient and wait to get what I want. To me, it's totally worth it.
I wish I had a good suggestion for the OP about getting in during open time. I am lucky enough to be off Tuesday and Wednesday. Usually they open midnight Tuesday night, so if you could manage a late night, you could get the order in before work the next day. Or maybe before work?

Why not post this on the negative review forum, where the vendor is allowed to respond?

    Sticky on Negative Reviews Sub-Forum:
This forum is only for reviews: statements of an event or series of events.
If you want advice from other members, do not post here, as no one except you and the vendor concerned can post here - please post in General Discussion instead.

Since I haven't ordered from them and I also wanted to hear what others thought, it's here. Feel free to go post it if you think it needs to be somewhere else...

    All up in your grill..
You have a good point. Since you haven't done business with the vendor in question, ECF won't let you post a review. I'm not sure where to put posts complaining about the business practices of vendors you haven't done business with. You would probably get more attention on the general smoking forum then the lounge. How the moderators respond to this thread being here will set an interesting precedent. I will watch the thread to see how it turns out. :)

I wasn't looking for attention, just a place to vent more-or-less. There are many many sub-forums on this site, so I could have easily missed it. I'm sure I won't be castrated, chastised, and banned for posting it here beings how I'm fairly new to the site and the hobby.

Well I hope your gf gets her order in, and the two of you find a vendor you really like.
It is very frustrating to be into a hobby that you can't just get in your car, run down to the 24hr gas station, and re-up.
Don't let it deter you from making the switch. Eventually things will even out in our market. Hang in there~

I can, however, get in my car and drive to Heather's Heavenly Vapes lol! They're only 4 miles up the road. Not 24 hours though. No I'm not going to hang up vaping because I couldn't order one flavour, I have many others...but they did have one that was PERFECT for me. Foursquare- grape, black tea, and lime!

AiV is way overhyped. You aren't missing anything. I had the everything sampler. They all sucked except one. There was nothing special about the packaging either. Wow they used color paper instead of bubble wrap or styrofoam peanuts. Big deal.

Looks like alot more than just colored paper to me...
