A few days ago, I ordered three tobacco flavors from Alien Visions e-juice.
The site is very easy to navigate, the purchase was smooth, the processing was same-day, and the shipping was super fast. All juices on the site are reasonably priced.
The package came with a message written in giant letters in sharpie on the envelope that said, "WE APPRECIATE YOU!" Nice touch. They included 12ml of a fourth flavor.
Here was the order:
Marly - 12mg
Gamel - 12mg
Boba's Bounty - 12mg
(free) Havana - 18mg
The bottles are fancy drip bottles (though they do tend to bubble a little, making the drops inconsistent in size and delivery), and the label conveniently has the mg written in large font on the face.
NOTES: To me, 12mg offers a nice, mild TH that is comparable to the Camel lights I used to smoke. All of their juices are 100% VG and do quite well in the vapor production department.
Marly - It smells a little sweet, but there is no sweetness to the drag. I find that since the vapor usually hits the very tip of my tongue when I draw into my mouth, any sweetness is immediately pronounced. The smell is somewhat cigarette-like. Have you ever held onto your cigarette .... after smoking and smelled it? It's a little buttery, smokey, and maybe a little nutty. This is similar. The vapor is thick and smooth, and the taste is mild. The aftertaste has a little pepperiness to it (more feel than taste). Though I don't think it actually compares to a Marlboro, I enjoyed the vape all the same. It will be something I mix with other tobacco flavors to cut the sweet that is quite present in other tobaccos I've vaped.
Gamel - The first thing that hit me was the peppery sensation. It was curious. Not too strong, but just a little surprising. I didn't vape this for a whole session, but I sensed that it might irritate my throat a little. This isn't the same as TH. It occurs in the upper back of my throat on my uvula and soft palate. The flavor was not like tobacco, but a bit more like a cigarette...it's hard to explain. It was missing the mellow smoothness of Camel smoke, and I didn't sense any Turkish notes to it, but I also enjoyed this one. Again, it will live on as a mixer.
Boba's Bounty - Ever smoke a tiparillo? It's not harsh like one, at all, but that's all I could seem to liken the sweetness to. A little vanilla, a little dried tobacco taste, but overall not a bad vape. Once I end my quest for the perfect cigarette replacement, I can see vaping this one a bit more. If you enjoy the sweet tobacco flavors, I recommend this one.
Havana - Boy am I glad they threw this one in. It tasted like walking into a nice, clean, old-fashioned smoke shop; complete with the culturally insensitive carved wooden Indian. If I can't have a good cigarette taste, I'll settle for an absolutely delicious cigar taste. I have mixed this one with both Marly and Gamel, and they have made for a terrific blend.
Surprisingly, no cigarette flavor has come as close, for me, as the Camel flavor from RMV. This isn't a review for them, though, so I won't go further except to say that I've been mixing that one with these, as well.
With my newfound interest in e-juice mixology, the excellent vapor production and TH from Alien Visions, and my undeniable love of the Highping cart mod, I am set for juice purchases for a while.
Conclusions (for those who are learning to skim through my lengthy posts)
*Great site

*Awesome vapor
*Good prices
