I picked up my incarcerated Reo Grand and RM2 from the post office today. She’s a beaut!

As soon as I got home, I ripped open the box in excitement and proceeded to build my first micro coil. Or, more accurately, a “squiggly leg” micro coil. As you can see in the photo below, it got away from me a lil’ bit. The ninth wrap went astray while I was positioning the coil. Yes, yes, I know, I should have put the drill bit back in. But, heck, it was just a wee little nudge. What could POSSIBLE go wrong?

Not to be deterred, or delayed from trying out my new toy, I decided to just push forward with my quirky new coil. I checked the ohms (1.8), prepped the cotton wick, filled the bottle, and prepared to vape. After the cotton wick was broken in…WOW! All I can say is…WOW! My beloved Tribeca has never tasted THIS good before. For the past couple of months, I’ve been a happy carto tank user. No complaints about the flavor. I did not know what I was missing.

I think I’m going to like it here in Reoville. :D

Very nice vang0gh. Coil / build looks good too. I see some things in the background you won't be using much anymore I'm guessin :)

Perhaps a sale in the classies will net you what you need to get your next REO :)

Congrats and welcome :)

Welcome to REOville vang0gh!!

Grats on a fine acquisition :D

It's amazing to see so many people have similar reactions to the REO. It just doesn't get any better, imo. It took me about 3 puffs on my first REO to REOlize I had just bought an absolutely peerless piece of hardware. If someone had told me before my first REO experience that I would collect 5 of them in as many weeks (and get two more for a couple of people I love dearly) I would have laughed at them... and I would have been wrong :p I have yet to feel the slightest inkling of buyers remorse. They are an exceptional device made by a truly outstanding guy.

I've been wondering about that. While we all agree that the Reo is better than X, why is it that much better? Design, materials, simplicity, dripper, and Rob himself. Although you see several elements coming together in other products, in this case the whole really is greater than the sum of the parts.

Hmmm waxing philosophical here... Ah, well, it's late here in Denmark -- should be off to bed before I press 'buy' again at reosmods.....:D

Once that button has been pressed it isn't remorse you feel, it's the excruciating waiting. Seconds become minutes, minutes becomes hours, hours become days, and days become unbearable :)
