A place to exchange, discuss, help each other and share Mech set up.
Shall start the ball rolling.
MM: Fuhattan
D/T: Goblin M (T)
BATT: AW IMR 18650 2000mah 3.7V 7.4WH
PETROL: 70% VG 30% PG
OHM: 0.66 as of current, tried 0.2 with VeloC Drip when i had started without knowing its stupid.

Less flavour and haze after then change of Ohms and D/T but still okay for me.
Any changes i can make to increase flavour and haze without having to change D/T?
Lower the Ohms as long its within safe range of max amps? Currently at 6amp

MM: Petri mod
D/T: Tugboat V2 w/ Slam Cap (Flavor Chaser)
BATT: LG HG2
PETROL: 50/50m, 65/35, etc.
Resistance: 0.3ohms

Flavor and cloud production is amazing with a fresh battery. Voltage drop is minimal with the gold plated floating pins of the Petri and the Gold Plated pin on the 510 of the Tugboat V2.

Use this chart to see if your battery can handle the ohms, and I would prefer to use a dripper on a mech instead of a tank.

P.S. Read up more on Ohm's Law, Mech mods and your battery capabilities. No offence I hope, but you sound kinda new to mechanical mods.

Nice set. Looking at petri too but still need to find. Hahaha hmm planning to change my batt to bigger 30 max or 40 max amps. Yeah dripper is better but at times tends to get lazy so just go with tank. Used VeloC D previously. Was new plus clueless about ohms law and battery capability at first and started to research more. Then i realize that my GB M at 0.2 will BOMBA. So did quad coil on VeloC D but lazy to keep drip. So now just use a GB M with high ohms at safe amps range. But to compensate that I lost flavours. Hais

Search hard and be patient! :p

Stick with the VTC4 if you want a battery that can sustain the highest amp draw and remember that there are NO 18650 batteries that can handle 30A or more. You can ask Mooch more about batteries.
And yes be very careful about mech mods, the only thing that can keep you safe from a pipebomb is yourself.

P.S. Never use a Hybrid mech mod with an atty with a short 510 pin. NEVER.

Here's a repost :p

Trying to bro RSDK

Mooch actually recommend me HB4 or HB6. I thought HB6 is 40amps hahah My bad sorry sorry. Agree with "the only thing that can keep you safe from a pipebomb is yourself". Don't wanna be a cause of my own issue. Oh yeah talking about 510 pin, my GB M is like that 0. few mm shorter so i unscrew a little about half finger nail. Is that still dangerous? Feeling so stupid with the GB M but is really very handy...

Yaaaaas finally a mech thread!

I used to be nuts about using only regulated mods: consistent vape from start to end, on board charging.

But now that I've moved back to the little red dot, I forced myself to switch to mechs cos those things are indestructible.

Currently running thump rda on my 3 Reo grands :)

3 Reo Grands?! DAMNNNNN THATS NAISE! On board bottle!
You normally fill 6 ml full of PETROL?
Nice setup
True enough it's indestructible hahah
Anyway welcome and lets enjoy the mech thread.

Yup. Switching to squonking was the biggest "upgrade" in vaping for me, and I've been vaping for 4 years :) all the wonders of a dripper without having to drip at all haha

I usually go through 5-8ml of juice a day. DIY though

Anyways here's what I'm using this very moment

Yeah all the wonders to dripper with out dripping. Real envy of you. Why didn't get the fully covered aluminum? Thats really indestructible. hahah
5-8ML? Thats a lot bruh but since DIY it's fine. Still learning my way up to DIY with my kakis. Haven't seems to get a single thing well when mixing.
Nice and clean set. Didn't expect it to be so handy as it's box size similar. Actually slim to be exact :)

Haha bro this specific mod, I've accidentally dropped it on asphalt and driven over it with my chevy suv before. It's solid enough haha.

I'm sure you'll figure your way out with DIY. my recommendation is to forget about using poon huat flavors and just import TFA.

Anyways no more distraction. I'm here to see mechs [emoji317][emoji23]

Stingray? Nice :) You need to give it a good polish and it will shiny bro! hahah

Damn... i using ph flavour. That's why it never get anywhere. Friend got me a flavour bottle seems nice. Gonna try doing on weekend. STRAWBERRY KIWI~
Really need an authentic mech here. Feeling so pathetic... hais hmmm Stingray X has differen tube sizing? Or 18650 only? I know sir lancelot has 3. It's pretty compact as well when you can go 18350.

Yeap. Can do all the 18xxx sizes :) love the mod. Crazy low voltage drop.

It's nice. Actually i prefer mech with lock ring but i believe it is unnecessary hahah low voltage drop is in? Hope you don't mind to share more. Hahah now only know about ohms law and batt. Need to understand more:|

It has a locking ring!

Ok so like. You know how for most mechs, the electrical current flows through the body of the mech to complete the circuit right?

Depending on the material, the body of the mod itself has a certain inherent resistance.

Stainless steel > aluminum > brass > copper

So in a way, what happens is that some of the voltage of the battery is "lost" to the body of the mod, instead of being applied fully to the coil.

As such, the higher the inherent resistance of the mod, the higher the voltage drop/loss, and it'll hit less hard given the same build.

In the case of the stingray x, since it's made of copper and is very conductive, most of the voltage is "applied" to the coil. So it hits harder.

Yeah i know stingray has locking ring which is in one of my wishlist when the time is right. Vaping is expensive too hahah
Hmmm oh understood. The material thing. About this the copper conducting is the best while stainless is the worst. Thanks BroKiwi :)
So it's called voltage drop. The Authentic Manhattan is full copper. But too bad i only has Fuhattan. That Man and Fu difference. hahah

MM: Kamry Robot 1
D/T: Snubnose
BATT: 2 x AW 18350 (stacked)
PETROL: 60pg (flavour is the priority)
Resistance: 1ohm

From my personal experience... more wattage = more flavour. I'm outputting 70watts, assuming it's at max voltage @ 8.4v.
More PG will also enhance flavour, whereas VG will enhance vapour production as I was told.
I don't find any hard in using a tank on a mech, just make sure your tank can handle it. I personally make it a habit to only use tanks/drippers with protruding positive 510 pins.
Just make sure you don't go over your batteries limit. A good rule of thumb is to always build a tad bit lower than your battery's limit

HB6 is the only battery so far that is true to its 30amp rating.. I'd go or HB6 over VTCs anyday. If battery life's an issue, just buy more HB6s hahaha.
