I currently have my KR808D-1 nebula that works fantastic, but with a new inflow of money (double my paycheck as a college student through taking risks ftw) I'm deciding to get a 5v-6v mod. I'm thinking about the Silver Bullet or Prodigy V3 since those the only ones that come to mind and they've gotten great reviews. Plus, I'm getting tired of using carts, I really want to give atomizors a try.

All suggestions welcome, and maybe a little about why you chose that PV would be excellent too; details go a long way. :)

almost all the commercially available mods are good, it really depends what you're looking to get out of it.

since finding variable voltage, its hard to go back to a single setup or having to switch batteries between 3.7 and 6+.

now i can just dial in the 'sweet spot' depending on resistance and juice. some of the sweeter juices i like better in the lower range, and it also depends if i'm using the afs or a carto, and even what type of carto.

afaik, the buzz, the fistpack and the little sister are the only variables available right now.

i have a buzz and i'll never buy another fixed voltage device ever again . however besides those mentioned above , there's also the new joker av *THE JOKER-AV* BARE BONE and the "new" precious L if ceasar ever gets it done ;)

since i bought my buzz my other mods have been sitting quietly awaiting attention .

If you want variable voltage, or just a straight 5v mod, without breaking the bank, I would suggest taking a look at Ken's website Box Mods. He's got 5v box mods for less than $40 and a new, very small, variable voltage mod for less than $70. I just ordered his variable model after having used one of his 5v box mods for a few weeks. Ken's might not be a snazzy looking as these high dollar mods, but 5 volts is 5 volts no matter how pretty it is.

Just making sure you understood: The Buzz does all of the voltages between 3.7 and 6, including 5V. It is likely going to be my next buy.

If you decide to stick with 3.7V, you can't go wrong with the Silver Bullet. That thing is a tank, and won't let you down. Mine is like 8+ months old, has been used and abused, looks like I drag it around with a chain, and works just as well as the day I got it. It's pretty heavy, though. I mostly use my GGTS these days. Partly because it's smaller and lighter, but mostly because I love the placement of the button.

I'll stick with my Saber Touch. Incredibly sturdy, 5 year warranty, touch sensor switch (won't break from clicking it) and it is now available in custom colors. variable voltage doesn't really sit high in my book of must haves.

I had a ST and had it in a bag and it misfired and burned the passenger seat in my truck. I liked the look and feel of it but the touch switch was hit and miss with me. Had to keep my trigger finger moist or it wouldn't fire. If it had a on/off switch/function it would be a great device.

Sorry your seat got burned harpo, I've not had mine misfire once...what did it touch that set it off? I only have an issue with the dry hands first thing in the morning when I wake up, I have to moisten my finger the first time I touch the sensor.

Some plastic battery cases and another PV. Not sure which one set it off but it wasn't pretty. I know the other touch device is incorporating the on/off function.

You can't go wrong with the Buzz.......I have the 901 and the 510 versions. Just got tired of hunting down the adapters for changing attys.
Right now I'm vaping some Boba's Bounty on my 5v Tekky. The battery duration is out of this world and it gives a solid 5v hit.
I love the button on the Saber, but it doesn't seem to hit as nicely as the Buzz or Tekk mods in the 5 volt category.
Looking forward to getting the varialble voltage Tekky......should be here tomorrow....Look out postperson, I'll be watching for you!
