Hows it going all. Just really got into vaping recently. My current rig is a SmokTech SID with a Trophy v2 tank (which is currently giving me some issues). Im still new to all the terminology and lingo but im sure it shouldn't be hard to pick up on. I'm a prior hookah smoker (still am), but im slowly but surely leaning away from that.

Welcome to ECF! And there's so much terminology, techniques and info that even when you feel like you've "got it", something throws you for a loop so don't worry, you're def not alone.

The great thing is there are a TON of people on here w/so much knowledge that you should be able to have any question answered just by doing a little searching.

Enjoy and vape on :vapor:

Indeed! This place is a mecca for someone just starting out. Like myself.... :p

I have an MVP 2.0 coming, but I couldn't wait. I bought a Evod starter kit at a local shop, for a very fair price. I even got to taste different juices before buying some for my new adventure.

For as much as I smoke (2 1/2 packs/day) I was surprised at how much I've already cut down. I think this might actually work!

It is the only thing that got me to quit this long w/out constant nic fits. 5.5 months will be my longest quit ever in 18+ yrs and I tried everything under the sun except Chantix. The addiction part of vaping for me is buying a crap load of juices and different tanks/batts/toppers. Oh and of course chatting on ECF! LOLOLOL

But I'll take all the vaping addictions over analogs any day of the week

This has worked 4 me. I too got the MVP and it's great. Every time I think about a cig I just grab my medicine and puff away. Good luck

Thanks everyone! I've noticed that everyone here is definitely friendlier than most forums that i've been to in general (this is the first and only vape forum i'll be sticking with!)

I'm also using a Sid but with a protank 2 with a rebuilt 1.2 ohm with cotton wick and silica flavor wick first I have built, trying to figure out why I don't have as much vape as rip trippers on YouTube lol only a month in and a month without a cigarette!

Yea im running with a 1.8 ohn wick (the one that came with it). What's been getting me though is that for some reason is that as of recent, my rig has been running a little hotter than normal. I like to chain vape and before it wasnt really an issue. I'm running it at 3.7v currently and always have. I've replaced the attys (4 different times) to make sure it wasnt just them but it seems like everyone i've put in there have come back with the same result. The best way to describe it is that my whole set up gets to a point where its almost too hot to touch. I'm kinda running out of options and im probably gonna exchange it out for another one at my local vape shop (since I just got it maybe a few weeks ago). Can anyone tell me what may be the cause of this? That way in the future I know what to look out for.
