All atomizer taste like metal

Hello, all my atomizers i have bought taste like metal. The only one that doesn't taste metal at all is my subtank mini from kangertech. But is probably because is almost all plastic made.

I have cleaned all my metal atomizers with vodka doesn't seem to work. 24 hours in vodka and still the same.

Hmmm.
My Subtank Mini is all metal and glass, with a peek insulator and rubber o-rings.
You could be getting a taste from your coils.

Not to be funny, but are you licking the attys? Or do you mean, the vape tastes like metal? If it's the vape, it may be a short.

Could also be the ejuice. Although I enjoyed the "redhots" flavor at first, after I'd been quit smoking for a while, I found that anytime I vaped anything with even a SMIDGE of redhot flavoring in it, it tasted like metal, burnt metal. Just nasty.

it taste similar like when you burn with the mod the coils for the first time...i will change the coils material to titanium.

I bet your coils are rubbing against the chamber causing a short. Gives off a very nasty burnt metal taste. Also, I get that taste when I have a coil pop while trying to take a hit. Check your leads make sure you didn't break the coil. Happens sometimes.

vodka wont get rid of machine oil! STMs are clean from the factory!

In my experience a metal taste means machine oil, which most new attys are covered in. I strip down and soak/scrub every component in dish soap with a toothbrush. The Derringer RDA I bought required 5 wash cycles like this until it tasted right.

oil is what it says. It isnty soluble in water or alcohol by and large. Detergent is what yiou need (dish soap, washing up liquid etc). Not too much!

Machine oil tastes bad, for sure, but I wouldn't say it tastes like metal. But yeah, if it's that, just use soap and water, rinse and repeat

I had a kayfun that still tasted nasty even after I washed it; boiling it for 15 minutes finally got rid of what was probably machine oil.

Just MY experience here but, if I get a metal taste it has always been because of a "Dry coil hit"(Talking about Kanthal coils in Watts Mode), that's where I didn't have enough cotton/rayon/wicking material in my coil and the wicking material broke contact with the coil and THAT'S when I got the taste of metal, Hot Metal to be exact. It taste just plain Nasty. I corrected the situation by pulling out the old wicking material and putting in New Wicking, but just a little bit MORE. Put in enough so that when you pull the wicking material back and forth thru the coil that there is some resistance when you pull (talking about cotton here), but not enough to deform your coil. Anybody, If I'm wrong, please correct me so that the OP is not led astray.

best thing to do with any new atty or drip tip is to break it down and give it a good bath in dawn (dish soap). Rinse VERY well and air dry

once in a blue moon I forget to wash a new atty and get a wonderfully awful taste. then I kiss 4-5 ml of juice bye bye as I scrub the atty =T

Yeah, I hear that I do. Question though, is it really that much of a problem for these manufactures to run the parts thru a De-greaser/Sanitation wash after all the machining is done, then thru QC ?

Ultrasonic ftw! What worked great for me was a quick rinse under tap, 15min cycle in water with a squirt of dish soap, quick rinse under tap, 5min cycle with water, 5min cycle in cheap booze. If that doesn't work, most likely coil rubbing.. Reduce the diameter, be careful about the placement.
