Metal Taste

I have a new iClear 30 and all I can taste when I vape it is metal. I soaked the tip in vodka overnight, but that did not help. Is there a better way to get rid of the taste?

Also, do the Protanks have the same problem?

I've had the same thing happen to me before and all that has worked for me is time.

Not trying to be a smart ash either.
I've washed, ironed, folded, repeat...stood on my head and nothing seems to get rid of that taste.
But, after about the second fill up, it goes away.
Maybe someone will have an answer.
I'd love to hear it.

I don't have that problem and I am using a protank, I've heard that people say that sometimes. I wish I could find the thread where they were talking about that but I can't seem to find it. I should try google, searching on here comes up with all kinds of crazy stuff lol.

I use both and haven't had this happen, yet. I believe a nice vodka soak helps.

I was playing with genesis type of tank and found that I taste metal burn when the wick is kind of dried, not enough fluid.

Soak that sucker in vodka for about 15-20 minutes, rinse, dry overnight, perform a dry burn, fill it up, and vape on! I usually don't bother rinsing with water because the vodka will evaporate and I find it gives most juices a little extra kick. The cheapest vodka you can find will be OK to use.

If the Vodka soak doesn't help you could always take a couple shots of the leftovers to help numb your taste buds.

You cannot get rid of the metal taste from Metal drip tips.
The problem is personal sensitivity to Metals. I have the issue with aluminum.
All you can do is get used to it or mask it. Clear coat, though I don't see keeping something painted in my mouth for long.
