All Brass TVS Diablo Clone - Chiablo

Short Review, ordered from fasttech

Build Quality

Pros

-Weight is hefty. Listed at 163 grams, this mod is definitely a heavy, solid mod. Easily rivals the heft of my Launcher V2.
-Threading is smooth, surprisingly. Very surprised, just barely a squeak. YMMV of course, but the two that I ordered are outstanding.
-All brass connections! This is truly a 100%* brass mod. The only thing that isn't brass is the spring, which is easily replaced. (I replaced mine with copper hotsprings)
-Finish for the top and bottom body pieces are nice and shiny.
-Button with the stock spring is a nice and easy throw, also flush with the bottom cap, VERY sturdy when standing.

Cons

-Top, bottom, and midsection aren't buffed, they have small imperfections.
-Weight and size may be a turn off for some.
Performance

I unfortunately don't have a way to test voltage drop, however, I can say that this performs easily as well as my Launcher V2. I find myself picking this one up more often than my Launcher V2, to be quite honest.

At $17USD (!!!!!) this is easily a 10/10 value/performance.

I'm not happy with mine. Well, it's the SS version. I feel its voltage drop is too much. I bought it because it has copper contacts but my old Torpedo (chrome-plated brass) hits much better than it. Haven't done a test but I sure can feel it every time I use it.

Do you know of any ways of modding it to make it perform better? I cannot sand anything unlike in the Torpedo that has this brass goodness underneath the chrome plating.

Wonder why nobody responded to this? The mod is great. I've been using it for about a month and a half. Question though.. I can't use my 18350s in it. They're too short. But I see other people using them. What am I missing?! LOL
By how much? Fuse? Kick? Nothing but a batt? Flat or button top?

Mine just worked great right out of the box. Have you tried a different atty? Some of mine don't fit quite right..

I've used all 5 of my attys in them and none work as nicely as when they are on my other PV, the laos Torpedo LOL. I've done just about everything to compare the two mechs' performance. Well, I might be expecting too much, maybe brass can indeed outperform copper when other factors (body material, weight, among others) are at play. So here, I'm just using the Diablo as a back-up. The good thing about having this "underperforming" mech is that it did help me totally stay off stinkies--with a back-up to turn to whenever there's something wrong with my main mod, I can always vape to fight off cravings. Now, I'm over that transition stage and I actually vape less while not smoking at all.

Mine works with flat-top Efest 18350s. It's just hard to fire; have to push a bit more than when on 18650 mode.

This will be my very first mod. Started with an eGo; now using the Sigelei ZMax. I saw this beauty in a youtube vid and everyone who uses it says it's a beast. The thought of buying my first mod had crossed my mind before but I'd always convince myself I wasn't ready for that since I haven't been vaping for a full month yet.
Once I saw this, all thoughts went out the window and I immediately added to cart. First time also buying from FastTech.

I'm curious to know whether the polished brass pieces resist tarnish and oxidation better than the unpolished pieces? I have a solid brass "Chi Chi" that I have to polish constantly. I don't care for the "patina" look - just looks dirty to me. That's the only thing that has stopped me from picking one of these up.

Mine loses the shiny look within 24 hours lol. Dirty look it is, then! :)
