I'm pretty amazed with my e cig, I recently purchased a fifty one duo from a tobacco store near me (it came with 2 batteries, 2carts and a charger) kinda bull .... it only came with 2. I ended up killing the first cart in the 2nd day I had it while passing it around in anatomy (the teacher wasn't paying any attention and u all know it's scentless I got home and screwed on the other one I had, it ended up running out the next night. I watched many vids on YouTube of people refilling their e cigs and taking them apart. Thinking I knew what I was doing I pulled off the rubber stopper and thought " oh cool it's a cloth just like the ones online. I proceeded to pulling out the cloth, with a metal string attached. As soon as that happened I realized that I destroyed it I also noticed that the filter was still pretty moist except for the top portion of it which appeared to be bone dry. I tried using the tweezers to bend the metal back inside the cart thinking that it might still work. It didn't. So I took the stopper off my other empty cart and took a closer look and realized that the metal string goes up the center of the cloth and maybe even wraps around? I was struck with an idea, I grabbed a kroger bag and ripped a little piece off (to use as a ghetto glove, as not to absorb nic through my fingers) and squeezed the .... out of the destroyed cloth and got a couple drops into my other cart and it worked for that entire day. In pretty amazed at how awesome these things are, I mean 2 drops for all say smokage? Can't beat it (u think it was probably just dry at the top and just quit working. And just now I put a couple drops of purified water (out of my brita I to it) and it's smoking good again (still plenty of vapor and decent throat hit)

I have a few questions about it though if you guys could help me out.

is there a way to get the cloth out without destroying the atomizer(coils?) or the wick?

wow you typed that much on your itouch... I've messed around with a buddies before and couldn't fathom that. I'm impressed.

I used one a long time ago and played around with it and if there was, I never figured it out. Never could get them to take juice either without it all getting yulky on the outside. It was a long time ago so you might check to see if they have reloadable cartos.

If I understood the description correctly ... you're dealing with cartomizers (combined juice cart & atomizer). So, if they're constructed like the cartos for my KR808, you can't remove the filler without destroying them (yeah, I did that) ... you would refill by dripping or by using a syringe, after removing the end cap. Yes?

Congrats on your purchase. I have a duo and like it lots. Most vendors dont carry cartomizers that will work with it but LeCig carries cartomizers that will fit called a D2 and they are way cheaper than smoke 51. Other names for your Duo are LeCig D2, Green Smoke, E9, and Bloog. Its identical to a kr8 except it has 3 threads so its not compatible with the kr8 2 threads.

I saw where someone took apart a cartomizer once but I have never been successful at removing the filler (cloth).

Does lecig sell refillable? And I just got my grape and ry4 e juice and put a few drops into it. It appears to work but it is very gross looking. Hoe many times u think I could refill it?

I ended up ordering a pack of their d2 refillable maredo(Marlboro red) cartomizers. What exactly is the difference going to be between these refillables and the ones my 51 duo came with? Will I be able to take out the filler?

I kind of wish I would of got blanks, not that I don't want to try the red flavor (I smoke red analogues sometimes) I just think they would hold up better. Is this true or will they be just as good just prefilled once?
