I definitely need to add a Lanyard to my next order. I'm so scared to put my VK in my pocket.

The first night I took it out with me I was vaping in the car, got to BF's place (right after a 20 inch snowstorm) trudged inside and couldn't find it. I freaked out and trudged all the way back to the car praying I would find it on the seat or the ground. Parking is about 100 yards away from his condo for visitors. Luckily it was on the seat of the car.

More than a few times he has picked it up thinking it was a pen also. He gets the "watch your back" eye :sneaky:whenever that happens.

Congrats on getting your order today!

That's awesome! Don't push it - you don't want the brain to go into that "scarcity of resources mode". When the time is right, you'll be there. For me, I think it was largely a hand-to-mouth habit, an oral fixation, and vaping absorbed that instantly. But just look at my signature banner and look at the way it adds-up. For you: from 40 cigarettes/day to 2/day. That's 38/day not smoked, that's 266/wk, 1064/mo, TWELVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY EIGHT [12,768] PER YEAR. Imagine that number. Almost thirteen THOUSAND a year at just your current rate!

Congrats!

*nods* vaping pretty much knocked out smoking for me immediately. but my hubs is down from 1 pack to 3 a dayish?

and for some reason i keep feeling the need to "light" a cig. so i do, take one drag, and put it out. i've started reusing that cig cause i have no desire to actually smoke it, and i don't like to be wasteful even if i have no plans to smoke them later.

Yeah, it's "funny". I've gone through periods of REALLY wanting a cigarette. Some of the avatars here are a key that leads to the desire. I took a couple draws on one of my old cigarettes the day after getting my VK just to compare, but I never liked the taste of burning tobacco so squishing it out was really easy. It was an acquired taste I never... acquired. The addictive substances, though, that's another story. They were easy to acquire a "taste" for...
