Well, lost may be too strong of a word...but I damn sure don't have it!! After searching and searching for a Vendor that actually had both the Kanger Protanks and iClear 30s in stock, along with Replacement heads for both, this happens. I even paid extra for Priority Shipping. It all was supposed to be delivered today. All mail, before it comes to my town, goes to the Sort place in Birmingham Alabama, then comes straight to my town to be delivered. I got up all excited this AM, knowing that my new tanks would be here today. Tracked the package and it shows where it left B'ham and then scanned in at a town 50 miles from here...WHAT?? Wait about 2 hours and track again...its showing out for Delivery in that town that is 50 miles from here. Go back and look at my invoice from Vendor making sure I put the right Zip code in..and I did. I wait around for the mail lady, thinking (hoping) that their tracking site wasn't right...she comes and goes with No package.

Being that I live out in the sticks our Post Office isn't open past 12 on Sat..so have to call their 800 number (spent 8 minutes just trying to get their darn computer to let me speak to a Human!) Anyhow, the lady looks it all up and says she'll start a claim. So I ask her...why is it showing out for Delivery when its not even in the right town? I mean really...when the PO worker scanned the package he/she had to have seen it was not in the right town..so why would they then scan it again, 48 minutes later showing out for delivery?? Makes no sense to me.

The lady said that they'll get the package back from the mail driver and they'll reroute it to my town...that I should have it by Wed of next week.:glare:

I'm just hoping that they don't give it to someone! I would really hate to loose 46 bucks...plus..I REALLY wanted to try out these 2 new tanks!

That is bothering me..paying extra for faster shipping...and what's funny (not ha ha funny!) is I never pay for faster shipping! I always choose the cheapest price..because who cares if I have to wait a couple extra days...but these 2 I have been really wanting to try out and was finally able to order it...I couldn't stand the thought of waiting a couple extra days..so I paid for faster shipping.

What is this world trying to tell me??

Anyhow, I live in Northwest Alabama...just a handful of miles from the Mississippi State Line and about 40 minutes or so from Tennessee line. When I was around 9, I lived in Albertville...used to go shopping in Boaz!

.......You know, when the PO fudges up and sends a package to the wrong place they should refund shipping fees, at least a portion, especially when someone pays extra for faster shipping.

But that would make too much sense! Well, USPS, you just wait .... now that the world has 3D printing, we'll just be able to print out the stuff we want and we won't need you!

(wouldn't it be cool??)

Printing out some juice - now that would be cool. Maybe I can mod something with an Ahlusion mixer and a soda-stream.

One of my clients is awaiting a certified mail. It was supposed to be to us by Monday of this week. It was showing delivered.
What?

Oh, it was delivered alright. To a post office 20 miles away. They say they sent it out to the correct address. Still haven't seen it. It's a post office box, it shouldn't be that hard, but they don't seem to know where it is. They didn't scan it when it went back out. It's INFURIATING. I have about 10 post office boxes for various clients at a local post office where I get and process their mail and in the past nine months, the number of lost packages/mail is definitely increasing. Not a WHOLE lot, but more than you would think necessary.

Luckily, they haven't lost any of my vape stuff. That would be fightin' time ;)

I had a package coming from a reputable vendor. Scanned delivered by USPS and not in my hands. I work for the USPS so I had faith it would show. After a few more days, I lost hope. Called the local Post Office, and they had a new carrier on my route and "would have the carrier check the route."

Remember, I work for USPS and know what that means...

Anyway, the supervisor told me that the carrier was new on the route.

I foresee more delivery errors. The USPS is hiring lower paid letter carriers with reduced benefits. To me this translates into more theft and more errors.

Also, since it was not insured, there's nothing I can do. The vendor quickly replaced the shipment but warned me that any future purchases lost in the mail without purchasing the optional insurance would not be replaced.

I used to shrug off the small insurance option cost. I won't anymore.

litecigusa is a good vendor.
