Does one still get points for reading this entire thread? While you'd think learning all about awesome new atomizers would be payment enough, I feel like the 10 points will really put me over the edge.

My thanks as well to raidy. :beer: I recall spending the long All Saints Day weekend reading over the german thread, good times that, and I still do it the traditional raidy way, quite happily.

Yes, I always pay homage to 'raidy', w/o him we wouldn't have this wonderful atty. I'm sure he's not happy w/ all these Genisis on the market though...
For those of us who were around then, this thread began as an exciting 'story to be told'. The reason Raidy named it part one is that he was planning on revealing the methods of constructing a Genisis atty from scratch. If you were to have gone to the German thread and read it at the time you would have discovered a story about Granny and Grandpa, Grandpa wanted to vape so he went and grabbed Grandma's broom and cut about 2 inches off of it, to become the mouthpiece of the atty. Then later he would go and steal her whisk out of the drawer to become the atty tube, and so on and so on. Quite comical really. I think once people saw his creations it took off like a wildfire and his stories never got told. There was to be a part 2 I assume on the actual construction principles.
Come to think of it I went and bought some whisk for the tubing. lol

When I first joined this forum and I discovered this thread. I spent three days reading every post. As I was going through the posts, I made a list of raidy's posts that were meaningful for me to help understand what a Genisis is and how to make one that worked. While he along with others provided a lot of important content, I was focused more on the atty creation and optimization parts and specifically what raidy said. Overall, there is so much content in this thread and I wanted to thank him and all other contributors for advancing this art.
For reference, I am providing this list as a way for anyone to quickly access these posts by raidy. Of note: each link says "All my mods part1" but will take you directly to the actual post.

A truly amazing thread. I stumbled on it trying to get a question about a Genisis answered and couldn't help but go back and read the entire thing. As a relative newb to vaping I've yet to even try one, but as an open source software advocate I can understand how raidy might be disappointed with people profiting from this design. I'm not sure if this is the place to ask, but are there "raidy approved" Genisis style RBA's to be had anywhere? I know I saw a couple throughout the thread but as usual I wasn't paying attention to dates and am not sure what's currently out there.

"raidy approved" would be to make it yourself. He has stated before that people making one for other people is OK as long as no profit is made but he has never condoned anyone making one specifically that I know of.
The only commercial 'raidy approved' vendor I know of is Electra Pipes. They will sell his new automatic device/s you've read about here in the near future as well.
A couple of the co-ops were explicitly ok'd. Not exactly commercial but not really DIY and none that I'm aware of going today.
