no not like the genesis LV who "ichbines" have build.
He didnt wrote much about it. just that it dont need any coil or something.
It just need a meshroll and nothing more

Hmmm, I think I'd prefer the "component" version. The user replaceable components would be the mesh and the coil. Replacing a mesh I can do with a pair of scissors. Replacing a coil I can do with a small wrench or pair of pliers (assuming threaded terminals with small nuts). If I had to solder to mesh then it's starting to border on not being "user serviceable".

Leave it to that German Ingenuity to absolutely expand this whole thing in new directions. Very very nice work! Some of these pieces would be right at home in an industrial design exhibit at an art museum.

If you ever decide to sell these, or to license someone else to sell your designs, I would absolutely buy.

Thanks for sharing your work!

Could it be similar to the Genesis LV? That is truely a great atty/evaporator. I'm thinking of purchacing a lathe to do this. It is a very complicated part to produce without one.
No lathe is needed to make a perfectly functioning atty.

I must have missed something in the translation. Isn't this it? And didn't you just build one?

From ichbine's post titled "Genisis-LV im Ziel angekommen ".

He's gone through the end of November, so not long now. The patent pending atty requires a manufactured part, that no modder could do, and it needs to be done properly, not on the cheap, so that is why the patent is needed. To ensure it is done right.

The Genisis remains open source and not for profit, so please act accordingly. The only money to be made is if you have to contract out milling, that this person should be re-compensated, but not the actual atty building.

Willy, I think it was a co-op project with a limited edition and Jens got one. Thanks for noting the actual thread though, I haven't actually seen it only heard of.

Those o-rings are a real pain too. Anyone know of some common uses for o-rings aside from the hardware store plumbing section offerings? I need more sizes and thicknesses. I've got a nearly finished genisis but the bottom is loose and unstable and I've been through 3 bottom pieces already. Any help appreciated :)

this is not a final version, just for trying a bit waiting for part 2 ...
I master the genesis yet, and my Kanthal "d" is not terrible ... lots of steam, but no taste ....

Is anyone try this? If i put down resistance to 0.5 Ohm will Nimh battery (1,2V) working? I didn't try yet but maybe someone do.

[Edit] fixed wrong number for watts
Ummm, that would produce about 2.88 Watts? I think you want about 4 watts? maybe 3 would work.
And that's going to be about 2.4 Amps? That's a lot of current. Not sure about the battery needed for that.

He's been reading some German :)

Bidi, the bottom plug needed a seal. The one with the battery connectuer. My orings were too thick, but within about 5 minutes of posting I found some better ones in my radiator bleed valve caps (for central heating). My thick ones swapped them out nice. Now just to let some glue dry and make a Stopsel.

Peace, I've heard of 1.6v and a .3 Ohm coil. NiZn powered
