@ asdaq:
ok, if you needed o'ring, I have a bit of all sizes,
it never asks if I know those that you would asdaq.

@ pailpoe:

Raw material cost me $ 10, turner cost me $ 50, postage to U.S.costs me $ 10 ... If I take $ 80 just for the body if I did something wrong? I ask your opinion. I have not earned anything. I only help those who do not have the ability to make the body. Do you think this is wrong? Remains a $ 10 difference ... in Croatia goes every agreement with coffee, snacks, beer ... So let these $ 10 to cover the cost:) I have no intention of making money. $ 70 is the amount that I am pay to one body.

@Bidibulle :
I use a Stainless steel 325 woven of 14mm wide and 12mm long (between the probe). Resistance is to low but it's not problem. I'll USE electronic control to limit the power and don't kill the battery with too high current.
AND yes, the taste is 200% with no burn taste . It's perfect.

Jens, a while back you mentioned abaout the tecnique to properly oxidise the rolled mesh. Did you make that video yet? I'm having trouble with the wick shorting out the heating coil. Can you assist with a bit of advise please? Or point me in a direction if possible please?
Try using a gas stove. They also talk about annealing, which means cooling it in water after heating. I've also seen them say 'dry annealing' used for the coil.

It would also appear that a an eliquid final burn of the mesh top, before the coil is wrapped helps.

Thank You Willy, I will have to try that. Jens also said that red hot glow is not good. Wish he would make that video to show us.

When oxidizing the glow on the mesh is OK, but when vaping glow from the coil is bad. Either one is burning juice, and for oxidizing it while burning juice, it is to be expected. It burns like a little tiki torch. Boertjie, you've got some mad language skills there, but uh, your German sounds English :p

Stainless steel obviously does not oxidize easily because it's formulated to resist rusting.
I think the preliminary heating cleans the surface of any manufacturing residue and prepares the mesh to receive liquid.
The coating left by the liquid must be serving to insulate against the coil wire.
