This with the dust is nice to hear, it isn't so much different from why a car needs an air filter too. Yeah, 3 Wiz sticks busted in the same way. Am now stalking the jungle to find a more robust system for my needs.
This appears wonderful. We'll see how I do with the instructions! Best of all,don't have to solder nichrome! I always seem to find a reason to avoid it....

I like 400 mesh.
Try wrapping for around 2.0Ω (probably one less wrap). Maybe even less.

By looking at your pic of your atty I see a couple problems .First one coils are not close together enough. You want them to be no more than 1mm apart and not touching each other easy to think of as they are heating a small part of the mesh coil close they get more heat on a concentrated area . Second problem is your silver wire is to far off the Stainless mesh this will cause the wire to heat up and burn or cause bad taste . Hope this helps

so i made some adjustments,as suggested, when i push button on batt, without top cover on i get lots of vapor, when i put cover on and draw from it i get very little vapor, i take cover off and it is full of vapor. i'm wondering if the vent hole is too high on top cover
Santo, in a word yes. The hole ought to be lower aimed more at the base of the wick. The way in your pic the air goes in and comes out without the vapor getting caught in traffic. Before drilling you can test this with having the cap just barely screwed on and vape that way, so air gets in through the bottom.
edit: Most have added a 2nd hole on the opposite side about 6-7mm up from the bottom, just above the threads. 1mm diameter, that.

man, this thing is not working for me,, . i thought this was going to be the ecig of all ecigs.
I put a hole on opposit side at 7mm from bottom of cover, put on new wire, it just wont vape like the videos on utube

is there any new owners of the Genisis living in New England ?maybe we can get together to firgure my genisis out, i really want to make this work. i have spent lots of time and effort to make mine work and its not working properly,
