^ please google tobacco seeds and grow it organically, or just ask a RYO tobacco forum/google for some zero addative off-brand tobacco.
Don't buy american spirit. They're a sub company and funder of RJ Renoylds which tests cigarettes etc on animals for BS marketing scemes completely on the opposite side of the spectrum of animal testing that some people might be okay with such as for drugs to treat disease, many of which were caused by animal domestication to begin with.

People are competitive. I feel being vegan gives me a physical and mental advantage over others, but for the animals and planet, I say all go vegan.

Anyway, back on topic, the organic one's all I found and am ordering that and hopefully not spending that much again for tobacco flavor because I'll have the time to soak tobacco or grow & soak it.

I wonder how many people would have died of starvation had we not domesticated animals?

Lets not have that debate here. The OP wanted organic so veganvap's response was relevant.

I helped with of RJ renolds earnings myself for about 30 years so I would be a bit of a hypocrite if I held it against them.

Don't be such a defeatist, there's always room for growth :) There was a website I bookmarked a while ago that sold raw tobacco leaves by the lb online.. lemme check my bookmarks. Yes it's "leafonly" dot com. Haven't ordered from them yet, as my local tobacco shop has kept me satisfied but I've been meaning to give their stuff a try. They even have a little video explaining the taste differences with each leaf.
