I'm not sure, but alcohol evaporates readily. I'd try pouring it into a petri dish if you have one or a shallow saucer (anything to maximize the area exposed to the air) and letting it sit out for a few hours.
Thank you Zal, that's a good suggestion. I have used this flavoring before and it wasn't as alcohol-y as this batch...it's Nature's Flavors Coffee and Tea flavors. I left the bottle uncapped for a couple of days without much improvement. More surface area makes sense I wonder if heating it for a few seconds in the nuker would help?
Thank you Max. Last night I poured it into a bowl and nuked it for 10 secs, then let it cool for a couple of hours before funneling it back into it's bottle. It did indeed mellow out the alcohol taste.
Lyn, I'm hooked on their Caramel Cream!! If you decide to order from them be sure you pick from the Coffee and Tea Flavoring System, and when you check out don't faint from the shipping!! Go through the checkout process and then in the comments section ask them to ship USPS Flat Rate. They will charge you $7.95 instead of the $13.95 UPS
Ive had the same issue with mine, the alcohol smell, and how thin it seems to make the juice, even at 50/50 pg vg. I t seems watery thin.Ive had the lids off for a few days with little improvement. The flavor itself is very good though.
Thanks, Bo! I'm really liking Want2Vape's RY4 as a caramel-ish flavor. I think I'll have a look at Nature's Flavors and check out the coffee and tea flavor choices again. I've wanted to try, but hadn't heard much about them. Thanks for the info, sistah!
Did you try the suggestions? It really helped mine. I poured my 1oz bottle into a half cup measuring scoop (the plastic kind you buy in a set at places like wal mart) and heated it in the microwave for 10 seconds. Set it aside to cool and evap for a couple of hours, then used a small funnel to pour it back in it's bottle.
