I've been pretty happy with my 510 so far, but I've been reading so much overwhelming praise for the eGo around here! I have a big road trip coming up at Thanksgiving, about 12 hours on the road, and the battery life of the 510 has started to disappoint me a bit. It's fine when I'm sitting around the living room, as long as I've got another going in the PCC, but I don't want to be messing with it every hour or so while I drive. So after finding myself with a little financial windfall this weekend, I finally took the plunge and ordered the pink eGo kit from the fantastic folks at Cignot.

I've also got 3 spare attys and 60ml of juice coming in the same order. This SHOULD be my last order for a while! (Quick informal poll -- how many times have you said "this should be my last order for a while"? I've only been vaping for about a month and I've already said it about three times.)

Good choice on the EGO. The battery will last you almost all day, so you will be jumping for (E) Joy (e). :p

I have been vaping 3 weeks... I have ordered, in order, The Safe Cig, EGO, KR808. Not happy with the KR and am trolling around trying to figure out what else already...

Good call on the eGo. That will get you much further down the road than the standard 510. Pick up a cig lighter charger and you can plug the USB end right in and keep the eGo batts topped off during the drive. BTW - I never say it will be my last order. This hobby always has something else I need (or should I say desire). I justify it since I am not spending on my 1.5PAD habit at $10.20/pack. $15 per day buys you alot of stuff!

I just added a Provape to my collection and upgraded with AW batts. You can tell the difference between this true 3.7V unit versus the eGo. Well made, feels great in your hand and looks nice too. Next up a variable voltage unit!!!

I agree with getting the cig lighter charger. Depending on how much you vape, you could get anywhere from 6 hours to 15 hours of vape time per charge. It really does vary a lot more than you might think. Being in the car for such a long trip, you might vape more than you normally would. You don't want to be part way through your trip and not have any charged batteries and no way to charge them!

Another thing you need to think about is the carts. You can't safely refill or drip while driving, it's as bad as texting while driving! So, you should have plenty of filled carts or get larger sized carts so you don't have to fill as often during your trip!

When I made my first purchase, I thought I'd be good to go for at least a couple of months and maybe just have to order more juice. WRONG!!! I started with a mini that looks like a real analog and I quickly found out that wasn't what I really needed. I ordered an eGo and a 510 PT and I'm happy with that. However, I did dive into the world of DIY juice making because I didn't want to bother with ordering samples of juices. For now, I'm happy with my set up but I do want to buy more DIY stuff and I know I'll be buying more batteries and atties come the next payday.

Think of it this way, you didn't think twice about buying your next analogs, so why worry about buying more PV stuff? I know it seems more expensive in the beginning but after awhile, you'll find what works for you and you'll slow down on your spending.

Same here. Love LR atties with my new Provape! I just got plenty of AW batteries and now I need to stock up on more LR atties.

Then about the time I get all of that ticking along to my satisfaction, I'll probably want to try variable voltage. And so it goes.

The folks at Cignot are awesome.

Another item that might help for a long road trip is a pack of 510 cartomizers. With a few of them prepared before hand, they are real easy to switch out. You just unscrew the spent carto and screw in the next one. Plus, they do hold a lot of liquid so you should get plenty of life out of each one. I get mine from Nhaler.
