My question is my batteries bar on my ipv4s were really low, thing is that I never let them get this low before charging. But is it normal that the vape basically started then stopped. Is this normal, by the way I was vaping at 50 watts. I'm thinking that the batteries were just to low.any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Because it is recommended to fully charge batteries and not to run them completely down. Rechargeable do have a life expectancy only so many cycles. There is a member here who is the the battery Guru and I am surprised you have not had someone post a link to his area. But not to worry someone will come along and provide more information than you care to have to read.

Mod is designed to NOT fire if power is not available to meet Set Wattage. This protects the Mod, the Batteries and YOU.

Running the Batteries down that far is NOT Normally an issue as the Mod has a Voltage minimum limit and shuts down.(Possibly 3.2v)

You will Never run a battery completely down with a decent Regulated mod. The mod will not allow it.

Could be any number of things.

Low batteries
old coil
Wick getting clogged and stopped wicking properly.

Water in tge juice

Just to name four possible causes.

The IPV keeps track of the voltage and wattage, if the volts get too low for the wattage demand it will just simply shut off... if you are in a bind and dont have fresh batteries, lower the watts to 1/2 of what it was set for and it will give you a few more minutes of vape time...
