I have one regular ICare and one mini. They seem about the same to me. It took me a whole day to get used to drawing on them. It's a tighter draw than I am used to even with the airflow wide open. I really like them when I am driving. I don't rebuild yet, so I am stuck with the stock coils. If they were a little looser to draw on and if the flavor wasn't quite so muted, they would be perfect for me.

The mini is my choice. They sort of remind me of the eroll concept - low mah battery that uses a PCC to keep a consistent charge, only the mini works sooooooo much better than the eroll did.
DC2 what are the problems with the mini you've heard about?
I've got two in daily use and a couple stashed away as backup's.
I haven't had any problems with them other than one bum coil I hit.

I changed out the coil in my iCare today after running about 5ml's of juice thru it. The draw was just getting too tight, now with a new coil, it's good again. I don't use a dark gunking juice in it. These things are so small I imagine that it doesn't take much to mess em up, and there will be some coils that are better than others.Still, for out and about, it lasted about 3 weeks.

Ok so I'm hooked these iCares. No doubt about that. BUT we all know that doomsday is right around the corner. What am I gonna do when/if these become unavailable? Well, I've got the power source covered with 10 18350 15w mods in my stash. But I need more tanks! What RTA is gonna match the restrictive DTL and vapor production of these little tanks? Small single coil deck, easy build and leak free! I do have 2 Lemo RTAs that fit the bill pretty darn well but they're huge. I do have an Aspire Quadflex that I've never unboxed. Wondering if the Nautilus X configuration on that might work? Also just got a Cubis Tank (also still in the box) with RBA head. Wonder if that might work with a 1.3ohm build?(suspect it may be too airy tho) At any rate I still need a couple more tanks in my stash. Any suggestions? Clones are fine. Original (Or clone) old school stuff from the clearance pages are even better.

Got my Mini/PCC today, and I'm really liking it. The draw isn't as tight on this as the iCare, maybe it's just this particular coil that i put in this that makes the difference. This is just a cool little s/u for out and about.
Yeah. I think these coils are just weird that way. The tight draw can come and go thru the course of the day.

You can get an original s&p tank cheap nowadays. Team that up with a Diver V2?

I bought some extra icares and a bunch of coils to horde for the day they clamp down the regulations. Then I guess its a wait and see what happens. It sure looks like big tobacco will push "heat don't burn" devices, like the IQOS they are doing in Japan. Vaping may become just the closed pod systems like the Juul. It's a crap shoot for sure.

Have 4 of these now. I think that will get me thru to DDay. Maybe grab a couple more at the last minute. Being internal battery they can't just sit in a drawer forever. Have 23 coils now and they're rebuildable so I think I'm good there.

When I did that post I wasn't thinking about all the PT2s in my storage cabinet. With the bases and positive pins drilled out they have a DTL draw similar to these. If worse comes to worse I could use them and just get used to cleaning the 510 connector 2-3 times per tankful again.

Packing up to head back out on the road. Tossed a few sheets of 100% cotton gauze in my vape kit. Think I'll give that a try for my next rebuild.
My 1st cotton rebuild is still going. Something like 10 days now @ roughly a tank a day. My jooce is lightly flavored tho.

Got my Icare and mini yesterday and do like them but noticing on Icare at bottom cap a tad of leaking around seam :(.Also if i hit them with more than 2 holes open to much spitting juice for me,which 2 is good enough for me anyway for what this is designed for...
I only had spitting at the beginning. Anytime that I have any issues with these, they ve been cleared up by taking the coil off and blowing that whole tube out. Hope that helps some, gl.

Yeah, I was doing this also. Every time I refilled I'd blow the tube out. But with both the rebuilt coil and the latest factory coil I haven't had to. They just don't flood like the rest of the coils I had used. I don't know what the deal is. Bad coils?

The leaking makes me wonder if you got a bum one Dale.
I've had 0 issues with leaking.
I did have the spitting issue on a new coil, but I think I caused it myself by over-priming it when I put it in.

Good point on the batteries won't go for ever.
Anyone know how long a brand new sealed in it's box device can go into storage and still be good?

My opinion on the coil flooding? Flawed tank design! Same as the Cubis Tank. Think about it. The Cubis folks have the same basic tank and same issue with flooding and spitback.

When inserting the tube into the tank the moment that first thread catches (basically sealing the tank) and you continue screwing it in you are pressurizing the tank. At the same time you're screwing coil end deeper into the juice causing even more pressure. Only place for that pressure to go is into the coil pushing juice along with it.
