OK I am loving my VK device and the last thing I want now is to loose it! First day and I only had 4 analog cigs compaired to my normal 35 to 40 a day analogs:)
SO I cruise the FDA website becasue I am seeing so much other stuff everywhere about this I decide to start at the source first! BIg thing I notice FIRST THING
IS THERE IS A DEADLINE OF SEPT 22 ( Only 2 days left to get your comment up!)

this link leads to info about how they want your comments; saying the FDA uses peoples comments to help make the rules and instructions on how to do it.
Comment on Proposed Regulations and Submit Petitions

Trying to find the actual link of where is a bit more difficult but eventually I find a guide for how to comment Regulations.gov

And a Place to Veiw others comments already posted
Regulations.gov

And last but ,not least, a link to post your comment
Regulations.gov

(Although the last 3 links show up saying regulation.gov they actually go to the right places there)

Another big thing I notice is that there are only 367 comments posted! That is not many people standing up for what we want Perhaps we should post?

I just made my voice heard. The organization name and 3rd party affiliation I had to answer or could not submit. No affiliation and non to speak of were the best I could come up with.

Thanks for the information. My plea was mainly to address an American's right to choice and to disavow the greedy need to fill the coffers with tobacco taxes. Probably not the best stance, but for me, this is an honest one.

Oh for that part just choose Individual consumer or name yourself as private consumer

Name yourself "Proud Citizen of the USA" :D

Ok, I have decided to stock up! I have a ton of juice, but I am going to get more. I am going to refill my carts once then instead of tossing them, I am going to put them in a coffee can to save them. If the FDA bans them, I will have a nice collection of cartomizers to refill! I have a passthrough and a manual passthrough on order, and several spare batteries for on the go.

Damn! I need to order more fluid! 4 orders in 4 days? Sheesh! That has to be some kind of record! lol

There have already been posted various ways of contacting the FDA. The best way IMO was posted by Sun Vaporer on page 3 of the following thread:

------------------------------------------------------------
e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/campaigning-discussions/17742-please-email-fda-following-addy-3.html#post292752

This is where the E-mails should be going I do not know where that e-mail address came from--but these are the players and the e-mail addresses to the players that matter---

Email should be addressed to the following members of the FDA:

Janet Woodcock Janet.Woodcock@fda.hhs.gov and/or
Mary Hitch Mary.Hitch@fda.hhs.gov

That is the real deal---Sun
----------------------------------------------------------------

And if you email them there is no need to mention brands like the VK...just let them know what the ecig has done for you ..blah..blah..

Thank you everybody, this would be a true travisty of our freedom of choice. We are all adults, and as such, are fully capable of choosing what we put in our bodies. We all need to stand together on this important issue to have the right, be heard, and Vape, instead of smoke.

It is so silly that the powers, that be, do not compare Ecigs, to cigarettes. Ecigs are, and should be regulated, in the same manner.

I welcome the taxes, the govt. could put upon us. So what. I for one, save over 700 a month, just on asthma meds, not to mention the additional money saved by not paying 190 a week for cigarettes. I use anywhere from 35-45 cartomizers, a week. Huge savings, not to mention, how much better I feel, and breath.

I still get my Nic, but can breath better, do more, be more active, and have been loosing weight, as a result of being more active.

These politicians who seem worried about loosing Taxes, for tobacco, should look at the benefit, to society, and the health care savings, wich is most probabaly 5-10 fold of the taxes collected from cigarettes.

Even labor production, in the workplace, is stimulated when employee's are allowed to Vape, in the office, warehouse, factory, et., and not take continual cigarette breaks.

Nicotine has been a proven stimulant, a vasal constrictor, but, most inportantly, and brain function enhancing drug, on par with caffeine, only less dangerous, than caffeine.

I know, I will do EVERYTHING in my power, to continue to help you, vape, instead of smoke.

Thank You

Steve

I find it amazing that the very organization that exists to protect our health, is hoping to ban something which will save the lives of millions of tobacco users. Tobacco is undeniably deadly, yet it is readily available.

And here we have something that is infinitely better for you than tobacco, but the FDA found a single carcinogen in a couple carts and now they want to ban it.

If e-cigarettes are banned, it will blatantly reveal the true motive of the FDA and the government-money. Money is more important than millions of lives.

If they are banned, I say abolish the FDA. Of course I feel this way regardless as a libertarian.
