but does that mean I can't post questions to vets,,??

yea yea two days wait I saw that & I --believe-- I may have posted my question twice , I didn't see that sticky until too late..
but its been weeks I don't want to ask again...... lets try here too

1) Nolax by Ideal == bad for interior of Mech mod, residue may touch battery wraps ... so a littleworried.. yea yea I heard already not to place Nolax on contacts
of mech mod but is it OK for the interior of mods, not just threads ..
I'm desperate to get the Maraxus Mod (CLONE) to be at least descent... its so pretty so useless --- hot button fix from FatDaddy vapes --
brass capsule(hand sanded to fit BY ME !!!) and magnets not fixing hot button on Maraxus Mod either

2) batteries Efest 35's not on anyone's charts, I heard they are just constant 20's not even 30, they are draining mighty quickly...
cant get them 'paired' up had some problems with bad clearomizer early on and two of my four Efest 35's over heated worried...
that I should give them a funeral

3) new round of (way too many) batteries on the way VTC5's , 4's and some samsungs, I want to get it right this time...
Charge these at lower charge rate at first or ALWAYS?
Someone mentioned its better if they ALWAYS charge at lower charge rate......Need advice PLEASE EFest luc charger
has two bays and offers either 0.5Amp or 1Amp charge rates.
I don't know which is best for these IMR High drains regarding longevity of the batteries ...

4) Best battery charger recommendations FROM EXPERIENCE !!!! please

5) lastly I wanted to share this thing I'm reading right now BU-701: How to Prime Batteries – Battery University

Thank you

You can still do that :)

You can also still answer poster's question in New Members, but you can't start a thread there.

I used Noalox on mod parts for a while and I don't do it any more. Found that it was not worth it in the long run. YMMV :)

I don't use Efest batts because they re-wrap batts and lie about the amp limits. I prefer to buy batts put out by Sony, Panasonic, LG and Samsung under their own name. The only exception to that is AW. AW re-wrap batts but they are top quality.

There are no legitimate VTC5's on the market right now that I know of. The best way to make sure you gewt authentic batts is to buy form known good suppliers. Here's my list of those:

Illumination Supply
RTD Vapor
Lighthound
Orbtronic
Battery Junction

I charge at 0.5 amps unless I am in a bind and chose to use the 1 A charge rate.

4) Best battery charger recommendations FROM EXPERIENCE !!!! please

I've used an Xtar charger for 2 1/2 years now and it has always done the job for me.

5) lastly I wanted to share this thing I'm reading right now BU-701: How to Prime Batteries – Battery University

IMO, Li-ion batts do not need any priming. If you take it a bit easy on them for the first few charge/discharge cycles, I imagine that can not hurt them :)

Best of luck with it CP :thumb:

Body: Hey ,
Krazy price you have for Sony VTC5's
if I have a local shop test them for authenticity and they fail whats your return / refund policy?
REPLY:::

if they fail you may absolutely return them, no problem whatsoever! You can search online reviews as well, there was a few posts about us being the only place with authentic vtc5's in stock. As soon as they are gone they are gone for good, we had got lucky in September last year when a manufacturer we deal with asked me if I was still looking for VTC5's, when I said I wish I could find some but they're all clones. She said her Inventory Control Manager had just let her know that a case of 512 boxes of 2 had been mis-slotted in the warehouse and did she think someone would buy them! She then sent us samples to verify. After passing all visuals we had them tested and we immediately purchased all 508 (4 were sent as samples)! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,

Ladies and Gentlemen please NOTE the word Fail specifically refers to my cited TEST regarding the validity of these units being legit VTC5's

Thanks for all of your answers !!!

In a buyer supplier situation you can get the paperwork that will validate the chain of custody, sealed boxes with cas and msds serials all matching purchase codes from supplier etc also If I know my supplier is a registered sony reseller theres no reason to think they would one off me for a quick unload.

So I dont think I would offer you a refund if I didnt trust my suppliers information as everyone would look bad and the dookyfest hittin the internet ruining my rep.

It is not the first time someone popped up with the forgotton case of batteries like that I remember a seller stumbled across authentic mnke( the original sub Ohn battery) and the public litteraly shut the website down trying to get an order in.

If they are willing to stand behind them like that I think I would go for It.

Just looked- . I have heard of power stream and with that amount of information they are posting on thier site.' shell stampings, discharge graphs I would trust them. If candlepower forums users are willing to buy there - non issue for me

Always keep in mind that much of the knowledge on batteries here is discovered by those guys first, many of them are responsible for the data we post and live by here, they are super nuts about batteries. You lie to the flashlight guys lock the door and go home, your done lol

thanks dude first set charging at low charge right now... they are uneven so letting the new lagging partner catch up as they are now married for life ..

I also stumbled up on vtc4's & Samsung rc2' s from another sight I guess I need another charger lol...

keeping every one in pairs even though some will be just for mech mods..

REAL batteries are a trip... I have to re evaluate my wicking process because REAL batteries hit so hard they require more wicking material if you want the wick to last more than a day.

It's just LIKE WOW !!!!!! incredible & these are just the VTC4's.
Been so busy haven't had time to even charge the VTC5s that are reserved for mech mods, the ones for the VV/VW are charged but that's usually low watts n flavor chasing on the IPV3 , but they sure do last long !!
