You are confusing me. Are you talking about the same unit that Bdbodger is showing? Do you have one?
One cell can sustain over 2A. Why would there be a need for a higher than 2A output with a USB output? When USB (and the associated hardware) was developed they were basically looking at 100 and 500mA of current.
According to Wikipedia.
devices that need more than 2A usually use the more traditional DC connectors for input, the same ones you see on large power supplies.
Didn't know USB connectors were only rated for 1.5A. But yeah it's the same unit I'm speaking of,

Ahh, I see what you mean. I had no idea what USB hardware was rated for current wise... then again, probably silly to assume it was higher than 2A)
But yeah, I guess I was looking at it as a piece of hardware designed for vaping, when in reality it's no such thing. I keep forgetting that the kind of current draw you get into with the vaping style I prefer (I prefer Boge 2.0 cartos at 5.2v on my evercool variable volt boxmod.. which is something around 2.6A of current) is quite a bit...
