Box mod box from Fasttech

Another good find at fasttech.com - a couple different mobile 18650 power packs that could make a decent box mod. I'm always on the lookout for non cheap plastic boxes that aren't too bulky. These are aluminum and look pretty nice.

Well my box has shipped from FastTech... I'm wondering what you guy's inputs would be on what regulator to cram into it. I have a spare NCP630A, but I'm not opposed to try something else. I want to be able to build my own board; I enjoy the tedious soldering. I don't plan on buying a prefab IC, just making my own based off experience gleaned from the ECF community.

Harlw, I got the box in and was going to try and mod it using the internals that it came with. It wasn't a direct "solder on a 510 connector and go" setup, so the project stalled... Now I'm sidetracked with other mod projects lol. I'll come back to it eventually.
