Well, it's been almost a year now since I first found this site and popped for a new Provari Red.
I first got it with 3 pro tank II's... still have them, but have not used them since the first month.
Dumped them when I tried my first dripper, a little thing called a cyclone or something... much better taste on cotton, but spit to much and got to hot... so I bought a Authentic Nimbus (which i still use) and carry around as a backup. Loved dripping, but was looking for something better to carry with me to work... so tried tanks again, a couple kayfun clones (both broke the center pins) and I was still using the Nimbus.. Then the Aspire nautilus came along so I gave it a shot... for about 3 days... Said screw it and bought a Vicious Ant Kraken original, which is on my provari as I type this and has been for the last 3 months. Running it with a single rope of stainless on .28@1.3ohms 4.5v and it works like a charm.
But in all those changes the Provari has been my one constant. I dropped it, over and over again. It's taken drops of 5+ feet onto concrete, the powder coating on the base is almost worn off from use, the top ring is a little cockeyed from one particular drop while the Kraken was on it from the roof of my car (Kraken only cracked the glass)... All I can say is it's built like a brick and has survived everything I have done to it without issue.
If they come out with a Provari version 3, I'll be one of the first in line to get one without question, but I doubt I'll retire my red.
