almost bought a pack of stinks today

Hey, congrats on staying strong - you would have kicked yourself had you bought that box of reds.
Not only for the 11 bucks, but also for the horrible taste.

Couple of days ago the wife found a near-empty (one was left) box of filter cigarettes. Pretty much out of curiosity we tried to share it between us - we never finished it past the first two puffs - the taste was too terrible.

How could we have done this for 20 years + ?

I am actually in the south suburbs, Tinley Park to be exact. I always claim Chicago though since if you don't live here Tinley Park isn't meaningful to you. But I work downtown, so I spend a lot of time in the city.

Tinley Park is a nice area. Im in the Jefferson Park area of the city, if you know where that is. =)

I was going to the flea market and forgot my ego at home, almost went and bought a pack of stinks until i remembered that the lovely state of illinois and crook county raised the taxes on them and a pack would have cost me almost $10.00. I turned around and went and got my ego and completely forgot about buying the pack of stinks.

I saw Newports being sold for $7.72 WITHOUT tax at a gas station in Palatine the other day. Marlboro and Winston are less, but they are still expensive.

I was smoking little froo froo Capri 120s. A so called "premium" brand. I sure did pay a premium! Even being close to Will county and buying there a carton hit me for $76.

Think of all the fun vaping stuff I can buy with the bank roll I am saving!
