I tried searching for this a bit and didn't find exactly what I was looking for, sorry if this is listed somewhere.

Other than the pixel restrictions, what else is not allowed in a signature. For example posting the ecig that I vape would be acceptable or considered promoting/advertising another brand and therefor not allowed.

Any information of whats not allowed in sigs and or avatars would be appreciated.

Other than size restrictions, which you said you found:

24. Signature (sigs):
a. A signature is a privilege - not a right - and can be withdrawn any time for any reason and without notice.
b. No affiliate links are allowed in signatures.
c. No links (including in signatures) are allowed to websites we proscribe, or to websites either for, or that feature prominently:

pharmaceuticals, porn, gambling, violence, loans, credit, political parties, religious views, information considered illegal in most countries.

d. Signature images (graphics, gfx) must be 400 x 65px or less in dimension, and no more than 25k in filesize. We advise a .gif file.
e. Members who are permitted a linked sig graphic cannot also have text links.
f. Members may have a 'Stopped Smoking' graphic of standard size in addition to another graphic.

25. Affiliate Advertising:
Affiliate advertising is not allowed on ECF forums, either directly or indirectly. This includes, but is not limited to, affiliate links, discount codes, or clickable signature banners. This also includes links to external web pages with these codes/links/banners.

Animated smilies are OK because they are small, accepted as basic forum tools, and almost part of the background.

But if someone wants to get clever with them because we have had to draw the line, and goes over the top, that sig will get deleted. It's about whether this is a sensible site or a kiddies playground. There are plenty of other sites people can go and play with gfx.
