Is there anyway that the supplier forums can be put in alphabetical order or something else that makes them easier to find?
maybe all ecig suppliers listed first in alphabetical and then liquids only suppliers in alphabetical... Something at all- I am always scrolling through the very long list and end up passing a few times who I am looking for til I find it- AND w/ so many names starting "ecig" or "vapor" etc- it would make it easier to differentiate those as well- seeing them all side by side (alphabetical order) would keep me straight on who is who and what is what- Thx! I would really appreciate if this could be considered- Thx again

Yes, this has been brought up before and I'm glad it is being considered.

Random order is absolutely UNFAIR to those who are trying to find a vendor. If random order were more fair, the phone book, internet listings and other forms of business listings would also be random.

It makes zero sense, and makes it harder for the consumer (the only ones whose feelings should be considered here) to find what they are searching for.

I've found the same problem when scrolling through the list, and have to really go through it a time or two to find them.

One thing that will make it easier, if you know the name of the supplier that you are looking for. You can use the "Search" or "Find" feature of your web browser from the main forum window, and it will bring you right to where you need to be.

It's not the best solution, but it works.

Renaissance,
Thx for that suggestion

I had no idea it would appear that some were given favoritism... To me, I was wondering, if the order that the suppliers are in currently- meant that they were the high supporters to low, best supplier to worse, etc- Had np idea alphabetical would have some lean towards favoritism, I like Bandit's explanantion on that note...
If it is being considered, I, and others, would appreciate it. If it can't be done due to "hoopla", then so be it- We will get around the site as we always have I guess... I just think it would make a more user-friendly site and as far as supplier favoritism...
I actually think many people get the supplier recommendations from the reviews up top- NOT from just clicking on a supplier forum board and deciding from there- But, I could be wrong also- I know my choice came from countless reviews of e-cigs and then once I made a choice on model- I then went back checking on suppliers who carried it- I chose to purchase not the place that had it cheapest but the supplier who had better service...

Okay, not meaning to go off topic a bit- I hope it is considered as a positive change to the forums and will accept whatever the Moderators decide.

I'm pretty new to the site, and the funny thing is that was one of my first reactions when trying to navigate around: the suppliers list looks pretty random. The thing is, as a newbie to e-cigs the names of suppliers meant nothing to me. It was only after reading a bunch of threads on tips and techniques and absorbing some of the advice of the veteran members that the names of the e-cig retailers took on any significance. If all I saw the first day I visited the site was a long aphabetized list of retailers I would have probably explored the ones that had the most replies, not the first ones on the list.

I'm fine with the random listing. It's pretty much reflexive with me on any web site to hit CTL + F to pop up the browser search box to look for keywords, anyway, and the search feature on ECF works really well for me, also.

I'm too new to make suggestions, anyway. All I can say is this is like a lot of online forums in that if you're patient and take the time to explore the site you'll eventually find the subforums that have what you're really looking for. I am happy that I found the e-cig supplier I went with (not in the list of suppliers!), and already know that when it comes to reliable information this forum is a bottomless well of it. Really happy I found it.
