Avatar & signature questions

Hi, I hope someone can answer this for me. I am at 16 posts now and still do not see an option coming up in my settings to edit my signature. I would like to add a signature I made.

Also, are animated sigs or avs allowed? I'm guessing no tho, I haven't seen any yet...

Also, I made my avatar 150x150, and I upload it and it comes out smaller and blurry. Then I tried 120x120. Finally I clicked on mine to see the new size, somehow I figured out it was being resized to 114x114, but even making my avatar that size has not helped. It still blurs once uploaded to this site. Anyone know why? I also tried making it a png instead of jpg.

If you can answer any of the above questions, even if not all of them, I would appreciate it! Thanks!

It takes a little while for the forums to update. Check your settings again in a bit and the option for a signature should show up. No animated avatars or sigs are allowed.

Are you keeping the avatar under 5kb? Signature once it's available is right under the avatar setting.

Hmm maybe that is why, the 114x114 jpg is 7.50 kb....
its been awhile since I used paint shop pro. Is there a way to make that number smaller without changing the avatar?
Or will the avatar just have to be made smaller?

Add a little more compression to your jpeg when you save it.

I will have to play around!! Don't remember everything that I used to but will see what I can do. Just frustrating to make a sig and av and it looks clear and beautiful on paint shop, then u go to use it and it looks blurry and not as pretty lol!

Believe it or not tho, the av and sig are actually clearer when not on the forum here. My name and the "L" on the av are not actually that fuzzy except on here. And it should be clearer and more texturized. Love YOUR sig!
