Scott, your first impressions reviews are more professional and informative than most people's full reviews.
Just checked out the website. Whoa! At first glance, this thing is pricey! For example, $252 for the "Ultra 3.7v Advanced Kit" (with the RES and 14500 battery).
However, the base unit (without attys, 18 ml of juice, batts, and charger) of the same configuration is a less alarming $170. [Configured for the larger 17670 batt or two RCR123A batts, the base unit is $180.] And, after applying your 20% off ECR69 discount code, that's $136 for the 14500-sized base unit and $144 for the 17670-based one. Not bad.
A potential comparison is with the $80 GGTB (also Aluminum or aluminium if you prefer;-) Nickel) + $65 Fog, although I'm not sure how well those two work together.
It's certainly less expensive than the $220 GGTS + $135 UFS.
