So I've been doing this vaping thing for about 6 months now and I love it.. I haven't even wanted to smoke in months and I've found some great flavors of liquid out there and all in all it's been a very successful trip...

I'm kind of at a stand still now though.. I am more than happy with my carto tank setup for delivery, however.. I've been using the twists I got from Vapor Girl and while I really love them, it seems that she no longer carries them in her inventory. I'm all about looks because I consider my ecig an accessory and I want mine to look great at all times. Now I know I can go and buy twists from other places but they just don't seem to have the variety of designs that she had.

As far as function, the twist has and does everything I need.. Nothing more and nothing less.

Now my fiance just ordered a new ProVari. I've been browsing the site as well and thinking.. and thinking... The problem with all that thinking is that it leads me to over think things and in the end make no decisions either way. I've looked at others as well.. The LavaTube, the Vamo, the Buzz Pro, the Diamante and a few others. I've already given up on the eVic because, well, I have kids and live on the third floor and well.. You get where I'm going. I need something durable...

So after my many website journeys I've come to the conclusion that I have no idea what I want. I know that I want to upgrade from the twist and I want something that I won't have to upgrade every 6 months (like my iPhone LOL!) It has to be able to stand up to moderate abuse, have decent battery life (my twists get about a day and a half before needing to charge) and for the most part be pretty. I'm a girl and pretty is important.

I'm looking for any and all suggestions.. I like the VV and would like to stay on that path. Thanks in advance :D

Looking, looking, looking... I did that too. At the 6 month mark, while I love my Twists (and still use them in rotation with my mod), I wanted something a little more advanced. Every device I looked at had its pro and cons. Did I want a cool looking box mod I could theoretically figure out how to repair if the zombies attack? Did I want VW? Did I want to interact with a computer program? How big/small did I want it to be? What was my budget? These are all questions you will have to answer for yourself. There are 100s of threads where posters extoll the benefits of their favorite mod, but what I chose may not be the right fit for you. Good luck!

I just ordered a lavatube this morning.

I know I need to get a Provari, but I am determined not to until I reach my one year anniversary smoke free, as my reward. I chose a lavatube because of cost. It has all the features I want, and I got one for 38 dollars on Zainy. The only thing about that is, I may wait 3 weeks (or more) to get it. With shipping and all it was under 50 bucks. BTW, I am going from a twist, too. I see the twist as a nearly ideal backup/going out device.

If you have no anniversary hangups or whatever, and money is no object, I think a Provari makes sense. Even though a part of me still thinks of Provari users as kinda snobby, which will include me come May.

LOL, I just ordered a Provari the other day, and I'm determined not to become one of "those" people. We'll see how I do.

Another idea is that when your fiance gets his ProVari you can try it and see what you think.

He has an older ProVari and I've tried it out a few times.. I like it enough but I was never on the bandwagon so to speak.. I just figure if I plan to upgrade, have the money to do it and want the best out there that that was my only option.. Which of course was why I had to wander the web to find what else was out there.. Sadly to me anyways, they all seem to look the same when you come right down to it.

Ok I guess I should point out that I did see the wraps they had at provape.. And I thought about that as well.. Thank you Kable for those links because now I know there are other options.. I like the look of the ProVari (mini specifically) but the colors seem to me to be too easter egg LOL

I got a silver satin mini "blem," which are still available. "Blems" supposedly have a blemish somewhere and are selling for less. I did a few searches on blems before I made my decision and either people couldn't find them (like me) or they were so small as not to be noticeable. that was my deal-breaker. I don't like the colors, so the silver satin was my only option (there weren't any black blem minis). At the risk of sounding like a Prothingy cult member, I'm very pleased with my choice.

ETA: I came really close to getting a VAMO. If it wasn't for the size and color (there was only chrome available in the sale I was looking at), I may have gotten one.

ETAA: I have no idea how I screwed up this post. I need coffee.

We are both doomed to snobbery, my friend.

Edd: Phardon mhee, is that Grey Poupon you are applying to that hot dog??
Kable: Bye no means sir, it is a Frankfurter (pronounced FHRHANK-FHUHRTER). It goes mharvelously with my Provari, of course!
Edd: Ahh, a fellow user of the Provari, I thought I detected a man of quality.
Kable: But of course, only a plebeian would use a lesser mod....

Even if not by choice, evidence of class is often thrust upon one.

(For the love of God please don't take this as anything but sarcasm!)

Well if I go with the ProVari I'll most definitely go with the mini.. My fiance has the larger one with the extender cap and it's obnoxiously huge to me LOL.. He, of course, ordered his new one in the same size.

As far as the cult.. Meh.. LOL! I even told my fiance as I posted this that if someone posted 'Just get the provari, it's all you'll ever need' I would just laugh and say 'OK fine.. Why?'

I am actually trying to decide whether to go mini or full size. I am leaning toward the mini. I just don't like the bulk of the full size one either. I am not certain just yet. I have seen and used a full sized, I have not seen and used a mini. I am hoping someone will have one at the VapeMeet next weekend we are having in town.

I was trying to keep the initial cost down, so I thought I would be the extension cap later. I'm not going to get it now. The mini is much heavier than I thought it would be. I just got several extra batteries.

If you get the extension cap for the mini, it's almost the same length as a full-size.

ETA: If it's any help at all: my mini, with an 18350 battery inside and a small polypro carto tank on it weighs 5.25oz.

Ugh.. I think I'm about to join the cult... I don't really mind the weight so much with my fiances but the length of it was too much.. I think the mini without the extender cap would be the right size for me.. And I'd probably order it in purple (even though it looks like an easter egg) only because I have to be true to my fave color :p

Then of course order a bunch of the wraps for it and change it like a hairstyle :p

My mini (battery only) is about 1" taller than a 650mAh standard eGo.
