and wow! I sincerely hope that AlternaSmokes has a change of heart and decides to keep on selling
that dratted FDA! First, they take away my beloved clove analogue cigs, then they scare OutWest into wanting to close his store. Phhhttt! And Harumph!
I placed an order for some of the remaining e-juices at AlternaSmokes a week ago this past Monday. There was a hiccough with the online system, and apparently my credit card was charged, and OutWest could see that Id placed an order, only he had no clue what order Id placed. I didnt receive a confirmation email, which I thought was a bit odd, so after two days with not a peep*, I sent off a quickie email, asking about the status of my order, and if it had gone through okay.
Later that night, I received a phone call from OutWest himself. *Apparently, hed also called the previous afternoon, and my 18 year old son answered my mobile and memod a note to himself on his computer to remind himself to tell me to call OutWest back. And then promptly, my 18 year old son forgot that hed written himself a memo reminding himself to tell me to call OutWest back. (sigh)
OutWest patiently explained the problem and I told him what Id ordered. We ended up chatting for quite some time, pretty much about everything under the moon (hey! It was late. The sun wasnt out, so I was actually awake and feeling perky!) OutWest was funny, kind, sweet, and focused on providing the best customer service possible. If he does decide to quit the ecig biz for good, the wonderful world of vaping will definitely suffer it is rare to find someone who shows that level of concern for customer satisfaction especially online. For realz!
Much to my surprise, even with the order processing problem, OutWest managed to get the e-juice to my house by the following Monday considering that we spoke on the phone Wednesday evening, when I gave him my order information, thats pretty dang quick service and shipping. Two thumbs up, Speedy Gonzales!
Not only was the shipping speedy, but DUDE! It was packed so carefully, youd think that he was mailing mini-bombs or something. The (plastic, with child-proof capped) e-juice dripper bottles were each placed in new, empty prescription medication bottles (like from the pharmacy), then they were all wrapped in bubblewrap, sealed and placed into a box very professional looking and well done. Its the best shipping prep job Ive seen thus far.
But, what about the product? Well, I find the longer I vape, the pickier Im becoming. E-juices that I used to love no longer taste quite so wonderful, and Ive switched to mixing/making my own. But, every now and then, I decide to venture into (onto?!) the online e-juice world, and this time, Im delighted I did.
Heres what I received:
1 bottle 26mg unflavored juice for mixing (perfect, not too thick, not too thin - just what you want in a mixable e-juice!)
1 bottle of OutWests 26mg Special Blend (a unique flavor, hard to describe, but I really, really like it: good throat hit, great vape!)
1 bottle Banana (I always order banana when I get e-juices online, and use it as a way of comparing different companies so far, I like this the best: it is smooth, not chemical-tasting, has a sweet throat hit, and decent amount of vapor!)
1 bottle Milk Chocolate (Its in my purse, so Im not sure what strength but ZOMFG! For a milk chocolate lover, this is heavenly creamy, rich, like a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream on top tender throat hit and great vapor woohoo!)
1 bottle of Risque (Again, in my purse, so not sure what strength, but shazaam! Im in love lets just say, AlternaSmokes Risqué makes me want to do very risqué things and the nice part is, I can do those things, and roll over and vape away! No more slinking outside afterwards to have a smelly ole analogue er wait where was I? Kinda got sidetracked a bit anyway, Risqué is creamy, caramel-y and just downright sexy.. nice throat hit, nice vape, a really good all-around e-juice.
(Oh! And the prices were so great, I feel like a thief!)
