This is probably a very noob, uneducated question, but I'm wondering if I have to use a carto tank, whether it be glass, polypro, or metal for the citrusy cracking juices. I've been using a clearo up until getting a bunch of new juices and just like how easy it is.....fill and vape....clean out every other night....just so easy. Now I'm sitting here with lemon meringue pie and orange creamsicle, which I'm sure I can't just through into my clearo. I have a couple polypro tanks for these tough juices and have watched the video on how to fill it, not a problem. I'm sure I can do it...just wish I could enjoy these juices without always having to order cartos. If not, I'm looking at the mini vivi novas in metal so if you have experience with those I'd appreciate hearing how you like them. My batts are vision spinners. Thanks loads!!!

Hi,
Get yourself a Kanger ProTank.
It's a nice clearomizer with a glass tank.
At least that would give you one tank that you could use questionable juices in.
They are a little "airy", but you can order a package of evod heads for replaceables instead of using theirs, and it helps a little bit.
I REALLY like mine, and I ended up ordering more.
Rawr (or Roar as they are calling themselves now) has them, and I only paid $15.00 each.
Shipping was only $3.00 and that included two tanks and 4 juices.

vivi novas work wonderful, i have 5. 2 in aluminum version and 3 in regular plastic. i use my cinnamon and citrus juices in the aluminum ones just to prevent possible cracking. the only downside of metal vivi's is that you can't see how much juice is left in side, you need to open the top and check it with a flashlight lol
the good side is that vivi nova kits come with 3 replaceable heads 1.8, 2.4, 2.8 ohms and give nice amount of vapor, you can even save more money by "rebuilding" the heads with simple cheap materials ( if you would like to make your own wicks and coil).

anyways, you might want to check out other delivery systems like rebuildable dripping atomizers, which i find to be the best overall, they are well built in stainless steel, durable and the flavor + vapor production is incredible. (i'm a dripper) all you need is the unit, some kanthal a1 32 gauge and some wick material of your choice like silica wick, cotton wick, bamboo, cotton balls :vapor:

here are some links you may find useful:

Thanks Julopy! I think I will order some of the mini vivi novas in metal. Even though you can't see through them for juice level I don't see that as a big deterrent. I've been thinking about dripping and rebuilding too...right now I only have one good arm but after a few weeks of PT I'll be good to go on that front!

Thanks for the ebay links. The low prices are encouraging me to try rebuilding a mini vivi nova and a Kanger T3. I have a multimeter and maybe some needle nose pliers if I can find them.
Do I need anything else?

rebuilding wicks is easy to learn and saves you a lot of money. the final resistance of your coil depends on how many wraps you make
around the wick, i usually get 1.3 ohms with 4-5 wraps around silica wick with kanthal 32 a1. so i set my device to 8 watts or 3.2 volts.
to understand more about optimal voltage and resistance here is a little chart All sizes | Safe Vaping Power Chart | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

when you finish building your wick, you must test it first with your multimeter before putting it on your device to see if it's not too high or low. depending on your device if its a standard voltage or variable voltage, try to get the recommended ohm level for your battery voltage output.

Thanks Bad....I've actually read a lot of your tutorials and have watched your videos too....you do a great job!! I'm going to go with some metal vivi novas for now. I already have a couple high quality polypro tanks to use also. Just trying to keep it simple til I learn all the ropes! Thanks for your help!! :D
