Yeah.. I was running a pink lemonade flavor through my carto tanks, and sure enough, they cracked. It lasted almost a week so I thought I was going to be safe. Need to get a glass/polypro tank so it's juice safe.

My style/hours/nic availability of work kinda breed chain vaping, and I've had bad luck with burning out wicks and such from clearos, so I need a delivery system that allows for chain vaping (hence, carto tanks)

Anyone know any good ones? If they lock it's all the better. Kinda in a bind now since I'm just on regular cartos or (gasp) clearomizers until I get some to replace my smoktech locking DCTs... help!

Thanks guys.

I would highly suggest taking a look at OCD's tanks from IBTanked. I have 6 of them and counting. They are of excellent build and quality and use pyrex tubes, which will suit your needs.

These cartotanks are tight. I have not had any issues with the tank sliding on the carto. For cartos, I prefer Ikenvape cartos. Having tried many other cartos, IKV cartos are the only ones, which I will use, now. IKVs usually sell out quite fast, once they are listed on the site.

I recently received the Smoktek pyrex tank linked above. Great price, working well thus far :) the only think Im not sure about yet are replacement cartos. Looks like a special flanged carto to me, but not sure a traditional one will work as is (looks like Smoktech flanged carto has edges cut off compared to others). Still working on my first carto though so will have to test it with a non-flanged and a regular flanged to see what works. I've heard you just invert the tank for a regular carto. Guess i'll figure it out when its time to change :) I think its a nice inexpensive way to get a tank to use with those tank cracking juices, esp if you have a small(er) budget or want to use that money for other toys.

I recommend either a pyrex cartotank from IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us! or a polypropylene cartotank from My Vapor Store 510 Pro DCTank Combo.

I have seven of the IBTanked and a few of the DCT polypro tanks from MVS. I tend to prefer glass as it is more elegant looking.

I've written a blog about volatile juice flavors cracking plastic tanks. It has a link to a thread here on ECF with a list of flavors known to do this, and also has suggestions on what juice delivery devices are safe to use with those flavors. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...6-something-safe-cinnamon-citrus-flavors.html
