Alternative to NR Wire

Hey guys, i recently bought an Oddy clone and forgot to add NR wire to my purchase

As I dont live in the USA, anything I order takes about a month to get here

So I'm wondering, what can i use as an alternative?

If I use 32 or 30 kanthal for the resistance, could I use twiste kanthal 26 or 27 as a LOW resistance conductor?

I mean, twisted 26 resistance <<<<< 32 or 30

Any help ideas on this one?

if you have any regular electrical wire laying around...strip it and see if the strands are silver color (plated copper wire), if so you can probably just use that. i know breaktru has done this with success.

I hadn't tried it . . . . yet . . . but I think a nickel guitar string should work . . . no?

Depending on where you live, a local craft store or maybe a silversmith might have some .2mm, .925 (sterling silver) or .999 silver wire.
Depending on how much wire you have, you could always quadruple fold and twist the 30 or 32 your making the coil from. It will eat a roll of wire fast, but works better than expected, at least for me.

hey guys, thanks for the ideas! yeah i already purchased some nickel wire from ebay but as i said, it will take its time to get here
