Alternative Wattage control for DNA 30

Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone could speak to the possibility of controlling wattage on a dna 30 with say a wheel/potentiometer instead of buttons?

Just kicking around ideas for a new design.

According to the Evolv data sheet for the dna 30, yes it is possible.

A thought just occurred to me, the data sheet says with soldering a potentiometer the board will recognise that so what does that mean for the functions such as flipping the screen which uses up/down buttons. Has anyone done this with a dna? could you shed some light if so..

You also cannot lock your dna but there are buttons on the dna, make them accesible?

The Opus D DNA mods used a potentiometer.And no,you will not be able to access the functions that require pushing the wattage buttons,such as stealth mode or left/right mode if you use a pot for wattage adjustment

You will be able to access all functions if you get a potentiometer that also has a push function that actuates both button at the same time. The Protovapor XPV has one and all functions of the DNA board are available.

The coolest single button for the dna I have seen is a 5 way tact switch, its pretty sweet 18650 build on an aa powerbank over at breaks site one button/switch does it all.

definite purchase if I do ever make a dna mod which i gotta lol..
