AltSmoke eGoT Pass, Please don't shoot me

Ok so I know everyone one in the community has given the egoT a fail. I have been putting it through the paces for the last week and so far so good. I know I am a stupid ahole but I just haven't experienced any of the problems that have been reported when these first came out. Like I mentioned in the title, I got mine from Rob at Altsmoke, so not sure if it's a manufacturing thing or I am just lucky thus far. I have not had any airflow problems with the draw and I believe if the tank is positioned into the atty properly so that the sides of the tank are lined up with the open sides of the atty it helps. I am getting pretty good flavor. Granted it is dropping off a tad but not horrid at all and I am actually adding VG to my juice. Being the aforementioned ahole, the other day I was filling the tank and got sidetracked and replaced it into the atty then looked down and noticed the end cap sitting there looking at me like WTF? It actually was kinda funny to me. I removed it and blew it out immediately. After that it was ran a little dratty. So I adjusted the wick after viewing Vickis video witch I will try to post. Since then it's been a pass again. I will fail the overpriced atty and will not compare it to the pure awesome flavor or vapor production as a good LR atty. Just my opinion again with the unit I recieved YMMV of coure so don't hate on me please.

I just got may tank yesterday from Awesome Vapor. I know it's only a day, but so far I love it. Of course, I may change my opinion in a week or so.

hey i just ordered my ego-tank from dragonflyecigs.com - i spent like 200 bucks on cheapos E9 batt's from local smoke shops, then i finally broke down and bought a joye 510, it was much much better than all the others but with cart mods and dripping and leaking and messes and battery life sucking (150mAh? lol) and seeing how they claim 3.7v but are 2.9-3.1 on a voltage meter, i decided to order the eGo-T.. it just looked like the answer to my problems on paper.

i am still waiting for it to arrive, should be here monday.. i see most of the "fail" reviews were from early release manufactures, im REALLY REALLY hoping that these issues were fixed from then to now and this one that i ordered has been a late manufactered product with fixes (if any) already made

also i hope that the people giving it fails have just been idiots and not know how to use it

if this fails then i'm out like 350-400 bucks total for this hobby with trial and error testing, might just go back to analogs lol

Just ordered 10 eGo-t attys. I have had no problem with the 3 I have, except blowing 2 of them doing dry burns. No leaking no matter how I rotate the tank. I usually rotate on purpose every time I fill a tank and make sure it snaps in all the way. Its my favorite atty. Love them

I have the Inferno-T (pretty much the same thing) and I haven't really had an issue with it, either. So far it's been pretty good. I have one atty out of five that has a somewhat tight draw, but nothing intolerable. Flavor is pretty good, and vapor is really nice.

Maybe there are just some bad batches out there. It's hard to tell.

I've been using the ego-t system since 3/5. Although I have experienced leaks and dry hits, I pretty much learned how to avoid those problems within a week. (I also had problems with cartos and carts and never learned how to avoid those problems.)
There should be more troubleshooting info put out by manufacturers, but this industry doesn't seem inclined to do that much. (Maybe the language difference?) I searched for it here and on youtube trying different suggestions and my own speculative ideas until I got what I needed, but I was pretty motivated.
If buyers think there's no way around it, they'll conclude it's a bad system not a lack of communication. Perhaps people with problems are disappointed and probably more vocal than satisfied customers. (Is there a poll?)
I think a lot of people find the tank system to be a blessing and I am one of them.
Not my dream vape yet, but a giant step closer.

hogl3g, I'm happy for your relative success. Imagine what you'd be missing if you'd let those fail reviews stop you from getting that tank system.
