I've been seeing bits and pieces around the forum that Aluminum is potentially toxic, and may not be good to use on electronic cigarettes.

But a lot of the things that I use are made of aluminum.

A lot of my drip tips are aluminum, and I recently bought a very nice glass tank that has aluminum endcaps and an aluminum thumb-port fill screw.

Am I just being paranoid? or is it fine to use Aluminum vaping supplies?

breathing alum. dust/fumes has been reported to alzhiemers, there are plenty of welders out there working with it i'd be curious on their take. fyi all anti-perspirants have aluminum oxide in them as the dessicant and now are being studied for their relation to breast cancer. in a PV all of this is a non issue it is no where near storing liquids is lead crystal. my biggest worry was ni-chrome wire.... nickle and chrome moly

What about Aluminum caps on a tank? They certainly come into contact with the juice, and get some heat

My current set-up is a Stainless Steel Provari, Stainless Steel Zmax, and an Stainless Steel Ming drip tip. My tank is pyrex, but it does have aluminum caps, that do come in contact with the juice.

Earlier someone posted something in another thread about the Noble 1 hybrid and how they would never buy it because it is made out of aluminum. I actually just ordered one of these myself but I'm sending it off to Kenom as soon as I get it to be anodized so I hoping it will be a non issue for me.

It seems to me that the main issue with it is that the ejuice would be coming into contact with the raw aluminum inside the tank. In the worst case, let's say you have a juice like pluid and somehow aluminum gets into the pluid. The question is, would it be enough to cause aluminum poisoning over time?

We are exposed to aluminum all the time whether its with food or coke from a can. But if aluminum gets into juice and is then heated up by a coil, doesn't that pose significant risk? There are some noble 1s out there now and I've only heard good things about them. Other users have vaped with tanks that have aluminum endcaps that touch the juice as well. I don't much about aluminum poisoning, so I'd like someone who knows a lot about it to chime in.

Personally, I wouldn't worry. You're not going to hit the temperatures needed to break down aluminum.

But then... I know several people that won't touch soda in an aluminum can, but are perfectly fine wrapping everything in aluminum foil... go figure

JSYK - All Aluminum Food / Beverage cans that are sold in the USA have a sprayed in Resin coating that prevents the Product from coming into contact with the "Bare" Aluminum Alloy.

Unfortunately, Most (if not All) Bare Aluminum Alloys are very Reactive. Which make them Extremely Poor choices for Food or Beverage containers. I would Never consider using Bare Aluminum which is in contact with an e-Liquid.

I have a Noble 1, and have shot off an email to 310vapers/VaporCraze regarding the safeness of this prodoct. I would imagine that a company with a reputation for providing high quality hybrids to us, wouldn'
t release something to the public that cause poisoning...
