RDA Always getting rust on one of my RDA's

I have a certain rda that has a spinning center post but still works however it seems like every build I put on it ends up rusting. Does anyone know what is causing the coils to rust?

Assuming no other unstated issues or unusual methodologies... what wire are you using?

Kanthal A-1 is made of ferritic iron, chromium and aluminum. When initially dry burned, the wire will develop an aluminum oxide layer that is anti-corrosive, heat conductive and electrically resistive.

The only way the iron content can rust is when the alumina layer is worn away (frequent dry burns, course wire brush cleaning, dry burn - cold water rinse when the coil is still hot)... exposing the remaining iron / chromium content.

Yes....Most of the corrosion is at the contact point. It is a Haze clone. It was my favorite Atty until it started giving me these issues.

it could possibly be the screws rusting? i know on some of my RDA's they gave me some cheapo screws that rust at the bottom and top that I have had to replace.

Yup, cheapie clones will often have rusty screws.
