Also as a battery ages the amount of voltage lost inside the battery under load will increase
Well low and behold it was resolved by raising the coil just a tiny hair. Thanks RattlerX! I guess it's a learning curve with a reo. My builds have been mostly fortunate for me that they have been good on the first try. It's when something isn't right that I have to learn what the cause and effect is. Raising the coil a tad bit made a huge difference. I have no clue how or why, but it worked.

yeap, raising the coil gives more airflow under and around it instead of just over the top of it.Because Science...

that would be cool!I would LOVE to see a 3D animation of this actually happening.. One of those fancy ones on TV.

Think of the air flow, it comes in the side hole and bends up and out the drip tip. the closer the coil is the post and the lower it is, means most of the air bends before hitting the coil, so the side of the air flow gets the side of the coil. As you move the coil further out and higher more air flow passes around the coil pulling more vapor and heat off of the coil. If this creates to harsh a hit lower it a bit, this blends more air in for a cooler vape.
1mm in length... And yes, they do still sell 18490 AW IMR's...
