Am I cursed, doing something wrong or is E gear always poor quality?

I use the davide BVC from Anyvape and a Kanger protank 2. Both with original atomizers. Should be at least acceptable quality. Never really had a problem with them, it the mods that's been a downer.

The most durable and reliable regulated setup for those toppers is a Provari, in my experience. They are often here on the ECF classifieds for as little as $50 used, and have a high grade connector that I cannot wear out. The bevel on the top cap makes them a good fit for your toppers as well. I'm using a three year old one right now that has seen major abuse, yet it performs as new. Good luck with your next mod!

When I 1st started vaping almost 5 years ago, all of the gear was more expensive and I spent a lot of money trying to find the right set-up. Don't give up, you will find what's right for you and what will hold up. I wanted a Sigelei 30 until I read the reviews, I ended up with a Sigelei 75 watt for home use and love it. I also have a Heatvape Invader Mini for fishing and camping and an Istick 40 for work. I purchased these after using the same gear for over 2 years. My old stuff still worked but I wanted to update and upgrade. Still cheaper than smoking and better tasting as well as better for you. Save more money and make your own juice.

Would love to buy a Provari but man thats some coin. Kanger subtank mini kit looks nice. You get a mod and atty for under 100. Good reviews. Two of my friends have and love them. I bought an istick 30w when i first stared vaping four months ago. Vaped all day every day and still going strong. The only thing I dont like is the battery is not replaceable (unless you dismantle it).
It is, but so could buying $30-$50 mods every month or two, considering most mods come with a 30 day warranty. Over the course of only one year you could blow through far more than the cost of a Provari, 30-50 bucks at a time.

The problem is that there is no good data on mod lifespans.

Hi.

I'm seriously considering stopping vaping for good. Not because I want to but because it's been more expensive than smoking and much more frustrating!

I un ur frustrations, seems to me that your problem could be you are simply connecting you're tanks or atomizers to tight especially with egos if you still have your old ego batteries try taking a toothpick and wiggling the center pin up, the part that makes contact with the tank.

Also I can say that I have been using my 2 tesla spider 1300mah batteries for over a year on and off no problems. I did have a problem with the haus 650mah battery I got in my starter kit and it still works fine just ocasionaly have to pull the center pin up with a toothpick. I just bought a istick mini 10w battery and an aerotank in the last week and it seems to be well made and worth the 50 or so bucks for the battery and the tank.
If this helps or not let me know if it doesn't help we can try something else. As far as expensive mods go imo you can get pretty close to the same performance out of the istick mini or an mvp at a fraction of the cost
