Am I doing it right?

So I've had an Ego-C kit for a while now. I'm getting sick of the stock setup because it keeps giving me dry, nasty hits, and it's very hard to get any flavor out of my juices. I'm using "thin VG (VG cut down)" from Vaporheads.net by the way.

Anyway, I've been doing some research and it looks like I want to ditch the stock tank/atty setup that comes with the ego-c kit. I've come up with a list of items that I'll need (before I order) and just wanted to be certain I haven't left anything out as I don't have much experience outside of the starter kits.

From what I've gathered so far online, I've come up with this list:

tank: The Cartomator SS - T316 Stainless Steel tank (The Cartomator SS - T316 Stainless Steel Tank - Vaperfexion)

CARTOMIZER: 801 Fusion Cartomizer LR 2.0Ω (https://www.ikenvape.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=PGLD510CS)

ADAPTOR: 510-801 Stealth Adjustable Adapter (510-801 Stealth Adjustable Adapter)

So my question is, are these items all that I would need to pair with an ego-c 650 mah battery? I don't have the variable voltage version of the ego-c at the moment, but I might end up ordering a 1000 mah ego-c twist from vaporalley.com later down the road, as I've heard stellar reviews. Thanks!

I'm not really sure why you want to get something that requires you to use an adapter. If a carto tank is what you're looking for, they're a dime a dozen now-a-days, and getting something with an 801 connection seems silly to me, 510 is the primary threading used for almost everything e-cig related anymore. If you're planning to grow within the confines of things-you-can-purchase, then I'd steer clear of anything that's not 510.

There are problems with using adapters too, I'm not just suggesting that you shouldn't get an adapter because they add length to your PV. If they're installed improperly, and even if they're installed properly, they can depress the positive post on your PV, it's fairly easy to fix, but I imagine that it wouldn't want to be fixed after being done too many times.

I suggest that you buy yourself a couple of 2.0 or 1.7ohm cartomziers before you go all-out on the tanks, and see if you like them. The tank is just a sort of reservoir for the cartomizer, so if you don't like the way that carto's taste, you won't appreciate the tanks all that much.

Anyhow, back to your question: I would get rid of the 801 carto and the adapter, and just get a 510 pre-punched carto, preferrably a single coil if you're using it on an eGo.
