All,
I have been off of analogs since March of 2011. Thanks to the community of this forum I was able to make a solid decision and purchase a KR808 system and I haven't looked back.
However I am now starting to feel some growing pains and feel its time to move on to something a little better. It's still okay, but the KR is just not doing it for me as much anymore. I don't think I really want to move to an APV so it looks like the eGo is the all too obvious choice for me. My only dilemma is I have read so many reviews and discussions on various eGo configurations that it's making my head spin.
I didnt want to just start another "tell me what to buy" thread so I did try to learn as much as I could, but I couldn't really find a definitive guide for the eGo variants. So here is what I have so far, let me know if I am wrong or feel free to chime in with any other advice!
1. Other than the MaH capacity and the "twist" variable voltage features etc, eGo batteries are basically all the same and interchangeable with all eGo accessories. There are no real differences between standard eGo, T, and C model batteries.
2. Assuming statement 1 is correct, a standard eGo is just a regular 510 atomizer/cart combo, T and C models use the "tank" system, on which the C improves by utilizing a replaceable atomizer head.
3. The T and C tank system is just one of many different configuration options you can use with the eGo battery such as Cartomizers, Clearomizers, etc. It's not necessarily a whole new eGo. I think that was what was really throwing me off initially.
4. So theoretically I could buy any eGo starter kit or just some batteries, and then buy a few of each option to try: 510 atomizer/cart, clearomizer, eGo cartomizer, eGo C Body/Atomizer/Tank (am I missing any other option?)
5. With an adapter I could use my KR808 cartomizers with my new eGo batteries. (Would there be any benefit to this vs just using them with my existing KR batteries?)
Now that I have written this I actually feel kind of like I have a better grasp on it. Of course I could be way wrong which is why I am asking the veterans! Thanks in advance!
