Since I've gotten my sense of smell back, for weeks I've been getting whiffs of my eJuice flavor when I'm not vaping. Not sure if the vapor sticks to my clothing like cigarette smoke does, but I don't really want to be walking around in a group of ppl smelling like bacon, LOL.

I DIY my juice with a strong 20% flavor. Could this be the reason -- that my juice is so strong and if it does stick to my clothing, it's a little more pronounced? And sometimes if I vape Almond Joy all day and then switch to Peanut Butter Cup or Tangerine in the evenings, I can still get a whiff of the Almond Joy I vaped earlier. I don't blow vapor out my nose, so this is just a mystery to me.

Has anyone else experienced this? Please and thank you.

Certain flavors have more of a smell than others and will linger on your clothes, hair, and the room. I have never tried the bacon but from reviews it seems to be extremely strong and will make a room smell like it for some time. (Probably the person also  ...dogs will like you!)

You could try mixing at a lower percentage but I do not think it will eliminate the smell. For example, I mix my Capella's Vanilla Custard at 10% and after vaping in my Mom's car for 20 minutes she stated that she would get whiffs of Creme Brulee for 3 days after. Not that Mom minded this...she said it was better than buying car fresheners. Also, I have had people tell me I smell like what I am currently vaping.

I do not mind smelling like my liquids since they are pleasant and it is certainly better than cigarette smoke.

Hi Ast_Isis,
I didn't know that! Well I'm so glad that it isn't my imagination or that I'm losin' it, LOL. Now I feel better knowing that it isn't just me. I can't say that I want to smell like Peanut Butter Cup or Almond Joy, but I can't seem to quit vaping those two flavors. I guess I'll save those for at-home vaping and vape the fruits when I'm out and about. Vanilla Custard, Cinnamon, Vanilla and Orange come to mind for me. Looks like I find out more benefits of vaping everyday. I'm a happy puppy now. Thanks for the reply.

Sea I saw your post last night but didn't have an answer for ya. I was also curious since I vape rich creamy dessert flavors. I can tell you that I know when hubby is on his French Toast kick because I can smell in wafting out of his man cave!

My dog loves my desserty cinnamon flavors, he sits close and sniffs LOL

Oh, that's too funny Bovina. No need to wear body splash anymore now, LOL, maybe I should order some rose or lavendar. Actually, when I was down at my local health food store, I picked up a 59ml bottle of Flavorganics brand organic orange extract (5.99) that I'm anxious to try. I wouldn't mind smelling like orange or orangecicle.

I can't remember atm who, but I have thought about the water soluble lavender, rose, violet, etc flavors. I think it's FA but I'd have to look at my bookmarks. I think I found them first on FSUSA. An old fashioned Lavender Cookie might be interesting. OOoo, van custard with a floral touch! I saw Honeysuckle on PA's site too :)

Orange would make a LOT of dessert flavors richer too, like adding zest when cooking to give undertones.

I just placed another Capella order...I'm a dead Cow for sure when hubby gets our cc bill

That's what I thought about my cat - she always comes a sniffs me when I am smoking something I mixed with PA cinnamon red hot flavoring - the only thing is when reading about what she uses in making her flavor I saw Cinnamaldehyde which I looked up on wickipedia and saw that it is the organic compound that gives cinnamon its flavor and odor. But reading the article I saw this :

"Cinnamaldehyde is an effective insecticide, and its scent is also known to repel animals like cats and dogs."

Now I wonder if she comes and smells me because I am distressing her by smelling like something she dislikes

I looked cinnamon up on wikipedia also, and it was interesting to read that it is suspect of being an aphrodesiac, LOL.

So you guys are saying that by vaping cinnamon we could be scaring away the animals, killing insects and feeling Oh so sexy about it?

While visiting my niece in Tampa for 3 weeks this summer she commented several times about my lingering yummy odor. After I was home she emailed and asked what the flavor was as she was looking for a glade to match it. Too bad Glade doesn't carry vanilla custard and tastyfinger....LOL
Yet another reason to vape...free air freshener

What is Oust? I don't know too much about cleaning supplies, as I don't use chemicals in my home, just green cleaning, mostly with vinegar, baking soda and lemon juice so I don't acidentally poison my little yorkies. But I'm curious, is Oust a room deodorizer or a sanitizer? Is it pet safe? Oh, that is too funny, "spraying his man cave." I like your posts. Dang, it has been so hot here in CA, and now we're having a thunder and lightning storm. I nearly sloshed my margarita on my keyboard with this last thunder clap. Anyway, back on topic, if Oust works in your house, would it work for the car, and can you spray it on the carseat fabric?

I am using a lot more things like vinegar and baking soda as well lately but yes Oust is a spray surface disinfectant and air sanitizer. Active ingredients...triethylene glycol 6%
Oust®

For fabric spray I mix Downy fabric softener (scent of choice) in a spray bottle with water. I just put about 1/2 inch in the bottle and then the rest water. I like it better than Fabreeze and I always have it around for laundry anyway. It's good if you run out of hair conditioner too :)

I understand being careful what you use because of your fur babies...I even spritz a little Downy mix on my hands and rub it threw Chase's long ears to tame his static hair.

It's storming here too, watch that margarita!
