Am i stupid for only buying menthol?

I haven't yet started vaping, a friend of mine has bought me an e-go that i probably will receive sometime next week, I ordered 3 bottles of menthol juice. because I'm a menthol smoker, at least when smoking analogs. Isee now after reading tha tmaybe i should hav ordered some other tastes, Anyone here tried Shisha? http://sguk.wikispaces.com/file/view/shisha1.jpg/94819994/shisha1.jpg

Is it like that? beause i know having fruity flavors with the shisha is amazing. so maybe its the same for the e-cig?

Anyway, i ordered my liquids from lightinthebox.com, does anyone have any experience with them?

Im looking forward to the vaping experience, reading peoples stories here has totally psyched me up!

I was a menthol smoker too. I have yet to vape a menthol mix I really like or would vape all day with. They either taste like vaping vicks or toothpaste. I even tried mixing my own with tobacco flavors with so so results, close but no cigar, er I mean cigarette. I would try the full flavor tobacco juices out there. My favorites so far are Marlboro and RY4. I also like Clove a lot. You can always add some vicks or toothpaste if you really miss the menthol e liquids

I was a menthol smoker as well (Salem Lights) and when I started I only ordered menthol juice (30mls). On my second order though I tried different flavors. While there is nothing wrong with menthol (I always have some on hand), you are doing yourself a disservice IMO if you only stay with menthol. There are so many great flavors that sticking with just one is a shame.

Good luck and when you are sure that vaping is right for you try some different flavors, I would suspect you will like them as well.

oh yummy. I havent had a salem in ages. they are nice. Yeah you can notice im still a analog smoker.
I will probably buy some different flavours later, i wanna try apple.

Menthol is a hard one. I think that's one of those things that I doubt can be replicated well without real tobacco, half the time not even cigs themselves got it right. The only good menthol cigs I ever had were Newports and American Spirits.

Agreed. Newports were actually based on a light, there is more tobacco flavor in them then most mentol analogs, which is why I think they are so good. Salem was not bad. Kools were about the same as smoking vicks.

I smoked Kools in the distant past, decades ago. I have found that if I want menthol taste, I'm better off adding a drop to a tobacco cart instead of loading the cart with menthol. Menthol takes a long time to go away once you have introduced it to the atomizer. A hot water wash is necessary to get rid of it. I'd dedicate an atty and cart to menthol and keep the others pristine.

I was a menthol smoker for 18 years, I smoke Benson and Hedges SHORT menthol.

The ONLY e-liquid I found that was close was to a menthol analog is Seattle from Vapor Station.

I started with every Vicks/ toothpaste juice out there I think, but now I ONLY vape Vapor Station juice. VS4, Frisco, and Seattle.

I hardly think you made a mistake in buying only menthol the first go round. Probably half of my vaping is with methol or a mix of mint/menthol and some other flavor.

That said, you will definitely want to try out other flavors. If you don't, you are simply shortchanging yourself. Really.

My suggestion is that you find someone who offers sampler packs and try a smattering of things that sound appealing. (Velvet Vapors is one, I haven't tried others ergo will not recommend.)

I think sample packs are a great way to go - or at least try some of the sample size bottles. Some places sell them for $2 or $3 each for 5ml. Bargain.

I was (wow I can't believe I typed WAS) a menthol smoker too but only non-menthol cartridges came with the kit. I ordered a bottle of 36mg menthol at the same time and I have to say that I really like the non-menthol flavor. What I do now is add a drop or two of menthol to the the non-menthol cartridge or to the atty and it is wonderful.

I've just ordered some samples of non-menthol tobacco flavors from FreedomSmokeUSA.

I was a menthol smoker too (Marlboro Menthols). I tried about half a dozen menthol juices and did not really care for any of them. My regular vape is now cherry with a small bit of menthol crystals dissolved in it.

However, I did recently make one last attempt to find a decent menthol vape, and I actually found one that I really like: Menthol ICE E-Liquid. It is the closest to a true menthol vape I have ever come across.

And now I know that a Hookah is called Shisha in Sweden. I've tried that too at some local Arab places before I took up vaping. I did like the fruit flavors in that.

We sometimes call it hookah too, if we speak english. but translating the swedish word directly into english would be "Water pipe"

I really wanna taste liquorice and mango. om nom nom.

I guess its a week until i get my eGo tho. So for now ill smoke the analogs.

In my not so humble opinion, it all comes down to personal taste and only you can answer that..

I was a menthol smoker (NewPort) and when I went off brand I stayed away from any other menthol as they all either tasted like a bad after dinner mint or mouthwash to me..

All of my orders to date have been for variety packs of samplers, I'm sure at some point that I'll settle on a few as favorites, but in the mean time I'm enjoying the journey to get that point..

I was a menthol smoker, Initially all I got was menthol juices. I didn't like it so much in the beginning but thru experiementing with small amounts, adding vg then a little sweetner I really do like it. I've since taken those batches and made other batches thru diy flavors like blackberry, pineapple. I really think that the menthol is my base liquid as I don't care much for the regular tobacco flavorings. Hope you find a mix that works for you!

Maybe... maybe not.

VV is using flavors from...... Flavourart! The flavorings should be easily available to you and all you need is some nic juice and a little practice. Or a European supplier who uses Flavorart in their juices.

I'm vaping some of their honeydew right now. Not bad. The mango is really nice.
