I recently got a eGo 650mAh Pass-Through Battery from Liberty Flights and a LR attomizer. The atomizer wasn't working that well so I cleaned it (first by soaking in hot water, and when that didn't help, by soaking in alchohol) When I was done drying it, it died!!! They only have a 7 day guarentee, so I guess I have to get a new one, but I want to know what I did wrong so I don't do it again. What CAN'T you use a LR atty with??

I was getting nothing off my other attys today so I switched to the other spare battery that I got and it worked much better. Im wondering if I did something to my passthrough. I heard somewhere that you should buy a wall charger because keeping it plugged into the computer could do something to it(not sure what???)
HELP...not sure what the problem is...my passthrough?... how I have it charging?...my atty?...what Im using my atty with? UUUGGGGHHH...getting very frustrated:confused:

Deep Breath. Deep Breath..... It'll be ok (I hope).

1st off, the eGo PT is fine to use with your computer. It's a regular eGo but with a charger/usb port built in. Doesn't need much power. Uses the battery to fire the atty. It's the 5 volt "direct" PTs that are questionable depending on computer hardware.

Now as far as the atties:

IDK... I don't really have enough information from your post. Tell us again what is going on? What atty is it (do you know the ohms? have a link?)

LR atties are used with eGo type devices all the time. Depends on how "LR" they are. I'd suggest 2.0 ohms or higher. I've heard that the 1.5 ohm atties draw too much power and can stress the device and lead to failure. That may or may not be what's going on with yours.

LR atties die faster too. It's a catch 22. You have to clean them (or at least blow them out) but that can stress them too. And... they die. They get old. How old was it? Try a 2.0 ohm or 2.5 ohm atty with the eGo type devices.

So.. is the eGo PT working or not? If not, make sure it is connecting well. Clean the threads. Also, ensure that the little center post inside the atty connector is making contact. Sometimes you can gently pry it up a touch (gently!) with a bent paper clip. If you have a multi-meter around, you can test that it is still working. Also, does the button light up when pressed?

Thanks for calming me down AttyPops :) I got the Joye 510 LR atty from LF but it doesn't say what Ohm it is?? I could have just gotten a dud, but I wanted to make sure I was using it with the right battery before I assume that and buy another one.

My passthrough is working, but I seem to get better TH and vapor when I use the Riva 510 SE battery I bought (I think it's a higher power battery though)--I have a really bad memory. :) That's why I thought that my PT was going bad!

Is there anyone who will give a warrenty on LR atty's??
