Your mom said not to say...
Time for another rant. I know that dozens of you if not hundreds will do the knee jerk reaction to this and start defending these people, but I am going to say it anyway. I am getting pretty tired of dealing with amateurs at these sites that sell E-Cigs and products for use with them. No way to pay, with no contact information other than a stupid e-mail address. Uh-uh not if you want my dollars, especially with a product like this. I just spent 30 minutes placing an order filling out the forms, go through the whole checkout process only to find at the end that they don't have their Paypal setup and they have no way to take payments set up!!! WTF is this crap?

I don't know about the rest of you but I don't like to spend over 30 minutes of my time only to find out that the whole process was a waste of time since I can't buy the product from the place I was looking for it at. That's like going into Walmart and grabbing a cart full of items, standing in line at the checkout and the girl telling me that they don't take cash or CC, and they have no way to accept money. How long would this company stay in business, who would continue to deal with a mickey mouse outfit like that?

To those out there that are making a few bucks while providing a service, far out and more power to you, really I wish you all the success in the world. I would ask that you show a little professionalism and take some of these comments for constructive criticism.

If you can't take Paypal, or there is some issues going on, tell us on the first page, don't have us jack around filling out address and shipping info only to find that we can't pay for our order, that is really annoying!

Put a contact number on your site. If you don't want to be hassled then maybe this isn't something for you. This stuff is way to new for people to be totally comfortable with purchasing as this site proves with the questions that are posted every minute of the day here.

OK I got this out of my system. Don't get me wrong either there are some great suppliers out there. Dawn is one at DIY Flavor Shack by E-Cig Smoke Store, I have called and talked with them and picked their brains for juice info, and kit info. The fine dude at Nhaler.com was also good about it, and was easy to contact. These people will get my business every time over someone I can't contact. We are all aware of Dawn's issues with Paypal but at least when you go to the site it tells you in big letters that Stevie Wonder could see that payment with Paypal is not an option, and there is a number to call. I didn't waste my time going over the site and filling out forms and shopping carts only to find I couldn't order! Brilliant! There are people out there that understand what I talking about!

Now if anyone knows where I can order a couple of CR2 batteries and a charger without waiting for weeks for it to ship from Japan I would be greatly appreciative, and please don't tell me to go to HardassVapors.com that's what started this whole rant!

I am sorry you are having problems! I know that everyone is being kicked to the curb by PayPal! The places I shop mostly have that stated on the front page. I agree it would make me mad to shop and then be told I need a different way to pay.
But you would do better by putting your thoughts in general discussion. This is the new members forum. Your chances of being answered in here by someone who knows where to send you aren't as good.
Possibly a mod will move this post for you..so I will bump it up!

This is a new industry. Suppliers started out wanting people to pay with PayPal, but PP is shutting its doors to suppliers and anything to do with e-cigs. Soon, all suppliers will have to go the merchant route (some have already), and start taking CCs on their site. There are growing pains with trying to figure out all the ins and outs of a business on the verge of a possible ban/regulation.

I know exactly what you mean. Most sites give us great service but there are some that .... Just recently I tried to order through a place called Techie Warehouse in Albany, New York because their costs for our batteries, atomizers, etc. were pretty cheap. Waited two weeks. Only email addy and a p.o. box. Got no response until I threatened to contact the Better Business Bureau and a few others. Then the guy makes up a line like, he couldn't get them because of the "FDA ban" and was trying to find another supplier. Didn't say why he didn't respond to the 4 or 5 previous emails. He's finally refunded my money and it's back in my bank account. Sticking with the folks I know and trust from now on. Like I should have.
