If you enlarge the 4th screen shot a little bit, it's date is 2009, registered with the FDA, Center for device and Radiogical Health

looks like one of those technicalities where they're registered but not necessarily approved, like some juice manufacturers try to pull.

If you read the first review he disputes the FDA thing also. He also suggest googling an ecig forum, I wonder if anyone has come here because of that amazon review.

ecr@amazon.com is customer care -- I wrote a two-sentence e-mail saying the listing should be removed because it's a blatant lie that the product has been FDA approved.

Bravo Zulu to whoever wrote the first review! While I am an avid (perhaps rabid?) PV user, I have serious reservations about the false advertising used to promote a product I believe in. There are many questions still to be answered and much litigation still to ensue before we have the final answers to many of the questions surrounding the e-cig "phenomenon". Giving false answers way too soon SHOULD be illegal, not the device itself.

Yes, I totally agree. False information and lies should remain in the domain of the FDA and the ?Non-profit?"health"associations. They're just so much more effective, plus hopefully the sheeple will finally realize it.

I got curious and followed the link to the seller. Found something interesting, other than the ecig device they're trying to sell, they also have this listed:

If that isn't a clue that the whole thing is a ripoff, I don't know what is.
