Yeah, they obviously heard how great Wakonda is and just had to go check it out.
Pickers is one of my and my wife's favorites. I will wager that they won't find any antique vaping hardware, though!
I'd love to see some behind the scenes footage of Mike and Frank actually doing a pick. What we see is obviously staged and highly edited. Even a bloopers show would be nice to see.

Actually, when you see the person come over to validate their finds to see what it is that is my friend. She says the real crazy stuff usually never makes it to the final cut because the guys are just too wacky and are doing stuff all the time that doesn't fit with the story so it all has to be cut. 
I've seen some of that and they are all over the place, I swear they must be mainlining Monster all the time...
